Emirikol 436 Posted February 25, 2011 I'm running Karls & Scents on Sunday for a demo group at the FLGS. Anybody have any tips on running it? jh

Emirikol 436 Posted February 27, 2011 Play Summary (spoilers): Angran, Wardancer Schultz, Watchman Senor Domingo Amufito, aka Gallegamo, aka Il Virme (NPC) PC's met up at the Gilded Nose in Kreutzhofen, arranged with Amufito to carry the perfume to Nuln and booked passage by the Soll Carriage line. Before they left, Beastmen attacked them seeking the perfume. The Wargor chopped down the Wardancer but the Schultz was able to perform a stunt to blow the perfume into the face of the wargor, temporarily knocking him out. They opted to either go to Bretonnia to seek out the original source or to follow the trail of the scent's destination to Nuln. They chose Nuln. The party made it to a coaching house outside Pfieldorf before the Skaven caught up with them. The wily PCs made up a false batch of perfume (using some of the existing stuff) and sold it off to the Skaven; this gave them about a days head start before the skaven realised they were duped. The PCs made it to Nuln, into the Aldquarter and to Karls & Scents, where they made the trade and quickly reported the issue to the watch, who stepped in and prevented the Countess from being affected by the scent. The PCs chose to secretly report the scent after its sale rather than involve themselves directly. It was a quick session. Two new players took about a half-hour to learn the game system. Our Grey Mage player never made it to the game. I'm still leery about handing out my cards for fear of losing them, but don't have a quick way to get them all in print. Would be nice if there was an online character builder that had all these things in it and printed it out for us. jh
