player1828 0 Posted February 3, 2011 Hi, this is a question about "fire".Is it true, that fire does not spread from forest areas, because it´s burn level is 3, and fire only spread with a level of 4. When a forest field reaches level 3, it reaches it´s burnlevel and a devastation tokken will be place on this field. And so this fire can not spread, because fire spread only with a level from 4.Or can you put on a field with a devastation tokken, other fire tokkens, so you can reach the 4. Hope you understand my question, and thank´s for helpin Andi
DragonWhimsy 170 Posted February 3, 2011 According to the recently updated FAQ you place a devastation token, then increase the fire token to level 4.
player1828 0 Posted February 3, 2011 Hallo, I do not really understand. For example, my forest hex has level 2 and I put a new fire token on, so it is on level 3 and i put a devastation token on this forest hex, why do I increase to level 4, I only had one fire token ( from level 2, to Level 3 ), why 4 ? Thank you for you´r help Strat
KenToad 0 Posted February 3, 2011 He means that the latest FAQ/Errata clarified what happens when you would add 2 levels of fire to a forest hex that already has 2 levels of fire. The answer was that you increase the fire level to 3, then add a devastation marker, then increase it immediately to the maximum of 4, because hexes with devastation markers are treated as Plains hexes. In your latest example, you would just add the 1 level and add a devastation marker at level 3 to show that the forest is now treated as a Plains and can be increased to level 4. Hope that makes sense. Have fun.
