guest461286 0 Posted January 12, 2011 When creating a Character do the skills,Talents,Characteristics and Actions that you buy with the Creation points take up slots in the General Career Advances on the Advancement Worksheet on the opposit of the character sheet? If this happens it means that a character will have some progress completing his starting career from the the time of his creation, right? Emirikol 436 Posted January 12, 2011 That's the way that I've always ruled it. It keeps the players heads towards progress and away from min-maxing their characteristics. jh (always on
guest461286 0 Posted January 12, 2011 Yes but if you invest 3 creation points on skills you will have 4 skills to train and 2 specialisations and if your career has the number 2 under Skill in the advance options you will exceed that limit.
Rorschach Six 0 Posted January 12, 2011 I don't have the page number reference in front of me but the FAQ and the Player's guide explicitly state that character creation does not count as advancement. You still have ten full advancements after character creation to "finish" your first career.
