Shifting question.

 I'm fairly comfortable with the rules on shifting, but wonder what happens if the top or bottom position marine dies.  Do the cards just continue to stack at the top/bottom?  Seems there can't be a smaller half to shift when the top/bottom marine dies, at any rate.

If the top marine dies, move the whole formation up, so 2nd place marine is in the top slot. Essentially add terrain and GS from position one to position two, which then is top position for the rest of the game (for location card spawning terrain purposes). Same deal with the bottom marine, just move terrain and GS from that position to the last from bottom.
