Toothless_Night_Fury 103 Posted December 24, 2010 Happy Christmas to John, Jon, JC, Archdruid, Wizard, Warlock, Azoic, Velhart, and all Talisman fans here and worldwide. Bring on the next expansion early next year!!! What nicknames do guys have for cards in the game? e.g. Billy Idol (Idol), Stevie Wonder (Ebony Sentinel), Paul McCartney (Ivory Sentinel), Puppy Fluppy Wuppy (Cerberus), The Slag (Hag), Bruce Lee (Eastern Dragon), Gay Guide (Guide), Gob-alob-alin (Goblin), Spaghetti (Yeti), Suck a Train (Succubus), etc. Yep we are weird! JCHendee 3 Posted December 24, 2010 No nicknames... well, I've hear pegasus called "my little pony," but that's all. And right back at you, Ell. Hope there's something good waiting in the stocking.
ShaunFuckin'Holder 0 Posted December 24, 2010 Happy Christmas to you as well. No nicknames for cards yet, I don't think I've been playing long enough to have come up with any.

The_Warlock 171 Posted December 26, 2010 Happy Christmas Ell and have nice celebrations for this New Year 2011! We have lot's of nicknames for cards but they're mostly in italian or in our local dialect, so pretty difficult to translate and explain the humour in English. azoic 7 Posted December 27, 2010 We were snowbounded in Daenschendorf, a very small town on the german island Fehmarn in the Baltic Sea (unfortunately without Talisman). So a little bit late, but ... Happy Christmas to all and also all the best for 2011. ... The first time we played talisman was about 1986 or 1987. We used an english/german mix. The german Schmidt Spiele edition and the english dungeon. Later we got the complete 2nd edition with all expansions and for a long time we played Talisman once a week. From the first game on we used "denglisch" as game language. It's a mixture between german and english (deutsch und englisch). You can imagine that there are serveral nicknames, special, and unique words for cards, events, actions ... a lot of additional fun. E.g. "Muss der Schwanzwackler jetzt mit einem oder zwei Würfeln unter seiner strength rolen?
