Portland, Oregon

Recommended Posts

For any players in the Portland, Oregon area, we will be playing all three LCGs every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at Guardian Games, 303 SE 3rd Ave, from 6:30 - 9:00 pm. So far we have a few Call of Cthulhu players and a few Warhammer Invasion players, and we would welcome more! The store will purchase league kits if we can get enough player interest.

We can demo Call of Cthulhu or Warhammer Invasion if anyone wants to learn. We don't have any Game of Thrones players yet, but we would love to have some and any would be welcome.

Upcoming dates are October 13, October 27, November 10, and November 24.

So this sounds good and interesting, but the schedule is a little messed up.  You meetings take place on the second and fourth wednesdays of each month, but the dates you supplied-- Oct 13, Oct 27, Nov 10 and Nov 24-- for your schedule are all saturdays…  And now that I actually think of it, I was at GG this last wednesday (oct 24) with 2 friends buying cards and playing agot from around 6 to closing, and we didnt notice any other agot players.

You may want to check the date of the original post - Oct. 13, 2010.

Things probably changed during the intervening 2 years - including the fact that FFG is up to 5-6 LCGs.

Ha so it is.  This is unfortunate.  My/Our group really wants to find other local players to mix things up.  Short of mounting an organized and systematic advertising campaign at local game shops and interweb forums, and taking on the mantle of homing beacon for the entire portland - metro area agot players (a task im not sure any of us three casual players are ready to saddle), I think we are SOL.  Well, let me end this post by adding a bunch of portland-esque tags. multnomah oregon guardian games clackamas vancouver gresham beaverton expose yourself to art Bud Clark
