Xenos weapon training(Ork)

Recommended Posts

I made an Ork freebooter for a Rogue trader game, but I'm confused as to which weapons I can use. The book states that all Ork characters start with the Xenox weapon training(Ork) talent, I assumed it meant that I could use all Ork weapons, so I bought a Power  Klaw with my starting acquisition.

However, a few sessions later, I noticed that among the rank 2 advancements, one could buy training for Burnas and Rokkit Lunchas, which means that the Ork weapon training trait does not cover every Ork weapon. However, i can't seem to find any kind of information about which weapons can and cannot be equipped without having to buy extra training at later ranks.

Could anyone help me out with this?

Ork weapons, like all Xenos weapons, are Exotic weapons, meaning that each requires a distinct Exotic Weapon Training talent to use them under normal circumstances. The Xenos Weapon Proficiency talent is described on page 65 of Into the Storm, and means the character is able to use Shootas, Sluggas, Big Choppas, Choppas and all Primitive Melee weapons without penalty.
