Deck Builder freeware for CoC CCG/LCG (2.0.4 of 26-May-2013)

Recommended Posts

Someone in the German CoC forum over at the Heidelberger Spieleverlag (forum.hds-fantasy.de/viewtopic.php) recently announced a new plugin for OCTGN (www.octgn.net/downloads.php) which apparently works similar to Lackey.

I had not heard about this software before but apparently it's easier to use and has a more modern interface than Lackey.

Here's the link to the CoC plugin: www.octgn.net/forum/index.php

I thought this might be interesting for anyone who'd like to try playing CoC online.

This update shall come soon, probably without the pictures for the moment.

Stay tuned.

Hello cultists,

The new version 1.5.8 of the DeckBuilder is now available happy.gif

New things are:

  • Added all cards of the Secrets of Arkham expansion.
  • Added all cards of the Asylum : Whispers in the Dark.
  • Added first published cards of next Asylum packs.
  • Added cards and deck lists for the newly completed sets.

Unfortunately, there is no update of the pictures packs: I'm still looking for scans of these cards...

Have fun !

Hey Nyarla,

Thanks again for all your hard work keeping this superb utility up to date, I would not dream of putting a deck together  without it.  I left you a little tip, but for some reason it wouldn't let me send you a message with it, so I will say thanks here.

Cheers,

Nomad.

Thank you nyarlazorbec for yet another great installment!

I can not think of another unofficial addition to something great as awesome as this.

Perhaps dead tapes, but certainly not anything aftermarket at autozone.

Seems you perfected deckbuilder to the point where all it needs each version are the new cards and attributes.

Or do you have more tricks up your sleeve planned for us?

There are still a few things to polish here and there, but I'm a little short in time to implement them at the moment.

Hopefully, next version will have the complete Murmurs of Evil AP and SoA stories set as default stories for a new deck.

If I can grab a few hours, I'll try to redesign the deck check part (it's still checking the old CCG format). The deck search feature can be improved a lot, with some persitence of the search conditions and results.

Stay tuned !

Cheers,

Nyarla

Hello cultists,

The new DeckBuilder is now available with a lot of new things to discover :

  • Added all cards of the Asylum : Murmurs of Evil.
  • Added all cards of the Asylum : The Spoken Covenant.
  • Application of all errata, clarifications et bans of the LCG FAQ v1.2.
  • Added first published cards of next Asylum packs.
  • Added selectable contents for two columns of the deck and scratchpad grids (see below).
  • Added selection of card identifier display type in deck and scratchpad grids (see below).
  • Added a new filter to list every card having multiple editions.
  • Added a multiple edition indicator to the grids (the little 'R' symbol to the right of the card name).
  • Added the list of all other editions of the selected card, if they exist, in the card information box. This list includes the number of cards available in the collection.
  • Added distribution statistics for Conspiracies costs.
  • Added a new value to the Steadfast advanced filter to show all cards having at least one steadfast icon.
  • Adaptation of filters to the new cards.
  • Added cards and deck lists for the newly completed asylum packs.

As stated above, the card identifier in grids can now display the set as an icon or as the abbreviated text.
The next two columns can display many different informations, selectable through the Options screen or by clicking on their titles in the Deck grid.

I let you discover all the others improvements of this version. If you have some questions, jusk ask ;)

A warm thank you to the new donators, Nomad and Darbotron happy.gif

Many thanks to FredhoT for the last scans cool.gif

Oh ! Well, you may have noticed it yet : the LCG2 picture pack is complete up to The Spoken Covenant ;)

A final word for the newcomers who have difficulties with the pictures packs: please, read the readme.txt file ! The complete procedure is explained there.

Have fun !

Nyarla
