Julia 2,804 Posted September 10, 2010 All the rules for the game and its expansions can be found (and downloaded) here Anyway, it's a great game. Huge replayability, intriguing mechanics, a great atmosphere and best of all, it's a cohoperative game. You and your friends play together against the game. Definitely recommended ::smiling::

Innsmouth13 0 Posted September 11, 2010 Also on Youtube there is a 11 video series on the basics of Arkham Horror done by Grudunza. Very Well Done!!!! Either search his name or "Arkham Horror Tutioral". A friend of mine watched it before he came over to play for the first time and was able to help me explain the rules. In the forums there is a thred call cheet sheet. It only deals with the rules of the base game for now but he is planning on updating. The game is great, more so if you read any HPL. Little known fact: HPL hated games

I once new an old lady like that she would always correct you "I'm not a racist I'm a bigot, there's a difference".
H.P. Lovecraft2 0 Posted September 23, 2010 Lovecraft was an usual racist, he disliked Jews, but was appalled by what he heard was going on in Germany, and he was married to a Jewish woman. Mostly he believed that people whatever they are, should disavow their native lands and fully embrace an American manner and way, didn't mater if the person was Italian, Jewish etc. But at least he put his bigotry to good use, as it became a part of his writings, not in a negative, or even racist way per se
Avi_dreader 64 Posted September 23, 2010 Clarification for readers of above post. Unusual racist.
H.P. Lovecraft2 0 Posted September 23, 2010 Well usually racist people don't marry the people that they are racist against, he supposedly hated Jews but because she in essence and in his eyes became a good and proper Anglo-Saxon, he accepted her. Although, she still had to remind him about making racist comments when they were in public together. Certainly a pretty unusual kind of racist. Tibs 184 Posted September 23, 2010 I kind of have this thing against the human race, but I'm going to be marrying a human within the next couple of years. Go figure!
Brine 0 Posted September 23, 2010 Everyone's a little bit racist sometimesDoesn't mean we go around committing hate crimes
zealot12 14 Posted September 23, 2010 Well, most talented and highly creative people are whacked in one way or another. The soul of an artist is a dark well of conflicting emotions, demons; call it whatever you want. Many artists are extremely introverted, so they seek solace in writing, painting, and such
H.P. Lovecraft2 0 Posted September 24, 2010 Yeah, and if it weren't for his phobias, fears and prejudices we wouldn't have his stories, and no one would be playing Arkham Horror
