Revised cards replacements and .pdf versions.

Recommended Posts

Just spotted this over on BoardGameGeek -

www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/546004/bon-card-errata-now-available-on-nexus-website

"From Nexus Website

A number of small errors appear in some unit cards of the first print run of Battles of Napoleon - The Eagle and the Lion, which become relevant when certain optional rules are used. An Event/Reaction card (#53) also included an error in the "reaction" part of its game text"

The link on the Nexus games site, which also has a link to the .pdf for the revised cards, is http://www.nexusgames.com/read.asp?id=3714 (for some reason trying to paste that in to this message as a url loses the ?id=3714, which makes it pretty useless!), and FFG have already posted over in the BoardgameGeek thread how to get the replacement cards in the US.

And what about all those who live outside of the US ??  enfadado.gif

So now I have:

  • warped & misaligned terrain boards
  • misaligned order counters
  • damaged figures
  • incorrect troop cards

This just gets better & better !!  llorando.gif

Meanwhile there's no reply from FFG when you email them at their so called contact address.  Really glad I wasted my money on this shoddy product ..

My copy arrived two days ago - the boards and other parts seem fine. When I tried to download the revised images of the misprinted cards the download stopped halfway. There seems to be something wrong with the link.

On the other hand, I received a near-instantaneous response from Thadd, indicating that free replacement cards would be sent to all who are in need. This equals the service I received when I requested a replacement for one of my TOI American infantry figures. FFG has been really good in responding to my inquiries.

For the momemnt, I would be content to be able to see the images of the corrected cards so I could make corrections on the originals.

I'd just like to thank Leisure Games (in the UK) for their extreme helpfulness in getting these replacement cards and also for the efforts made in trying to rectify some of the other problems I have with my copy of BoN.
