bitva 4 Posted July 10, 2010 How accurately does this game reflect the series, and is there room in the game for more factions in the future? Do you see the possibility for other sides to be played with future expansions?
Aegon_V 0 Posted July 10, 2010 o yea, they would be able to at lest put 3 more original factions, in if not much more just like the six factions in the other board game
fragmaster2 0 Posted July 10, 2010 I believe that they will first milk the Stark/Lannister options completely, before they even begin thinking about a new House...
badalchemist 1 Posted July 11, 2010 Lets see, they could add: Baratheon Targaryen Brotherhood Without Banners Night's Watch Wildlings Greyjoy Martell And each of these could have some interesting unique units..
Old Dwarf 15 Posted July 11, 2010 There are also Others-undead types beyond the Wall.Vague in the books at this point but it opens the door. The Core Game covers part of the War of the 5 Kings,so Tyrell,Greyjoy,Baratheon & even the Wildlings & The Night Watch could be added not to mention some Minor Houses like ,Fey,Tully,. Battles of Westros is however not limited to The War of the 5 Kings, you have earlier conflicts As Greyjoys Rebellion,The Rebellion against Targaryen (of which at least 2 took place). There is a lot of material for future expansions & Martin has stated in his Blog that even House Martell will become involved (Tthis will of course not be in my lifetime ) so a lot of material. If BoW sells well ,FFG could have a long run with the series. badalchemist 1 Posted July 11, 2010 Yeah, the historical battles would be pretty awesome. I don't know about making the Others playable since it doesn't seem like they have commanders or any kind of leadership. How do you "order" the undead? That being said, it would be pretty awesome if there were a couple of solo scenarios where you have to survive the Others for X rounds (e.g. the Battle of the Fist of the First Men). Marduk2 0 Posted August 1, 2010 one thing is certain - there will be lots of expansions. and of course these will include at least some of the other houses. My bet is there will also be a wildlings vs nights watch for sure. they have the most vivid battles in the books.
