Hunter42 0 Posted December 23, 2008 I am sorry to post so many rules questions, but they pop up as we play: 1. Does using the shadow flare result in the following things: a. Defender (player using the shadow flare) keeps his own ships. b. (Offensive) Looses effectivly this encounter and does not have a second encounter ? 2. Just to clarify the warrior ability: Does the Mastery (in this cases gaining tokens) count in both cases (the warrior as the offense and the warrior as a defense). So if I loose to someone attacking ME I get two tokens ? Thx again, Hunter42
Toomai 0 Posted December 23, 2008 Warrior is active as either main player, as offense or defense. So you basically get experience every time you play an encounter card.
The Warp 23 Posted December 23, 2008 and yes, you get 1 point whenever you win as a main player, and 2 points whenever you lose (learning more from your mistakes as it were). If the Shadow flare is the same as Assassin's was, the Defense still loses like they would have anyway... it's just that the offense doesn't get anything, since all of their ships are now sent to the Warp. The offense would, however, get to make a second encounter (but I would have to read the new card to double check).
