Path of Destiny

Recommended Posts

If someone cast the Path of Destiny on me at the start of my turn and I am immediately able to complete the very new quest (discarding 3 golds for example), is that my whole turn? Discarding golds, teleporting to the Warlock's cave, getting a Talisman if there is one and that's it?

Am I able to do something else in that turn? Cast a spell for example?

I'm afraid you have to take the quest, complete immediately it if able, teleport to Warlock's Cave, get your reward and end your turn. You can do nothing, except casting Spells like Counterspell, Reflection or Hydra Spell (if you want others to suffer the same destiny, without losing a Turn).

Again on this Spell.

Q: Can a Character cast the Path of Destiny Spell against a Character with the False Grail? If yes, how should this be handled?

I just wanted to burn this Spell in the last game, could have cast it on another Character instead but preferred not to give Warlock Quest to others. I think that Can vs. Cannot Golden Rule suggests that the Character with False Grail cannot accept a quest in any case, but still I'm unsure if the Spell can be considered "cast for no effect" and so be illegal in this situation.

Any answers? Thoughts?

Yes.

A character with the False Grail may not voluntarily accept a quest. However he may be forced to accept a quest by another character!

Thanks Elliott, this is not how we played in the end but it's exactly what I guessed.

Please suggest a FAQ on this topic, and don't forget Battle Royale (maybe you have an answer also for that tricky question?).

Cheers
