What do you expect to come next for Republic and Separatist?

It seems like the Elite and Heavy slots are limited atm, but both factions got their first elite fairly recently.

operatives are another category that could use more, but they have been added to very recently.

Commander seems fine for Republic, but a likely choice for next Separatist.

what do you expect? I have personally been trying to figure out the next heavies for the 2 factions and I expect Separatist to get the Hailfire droid because the size fits perfect with the size of other legion vehicles and its iconic.
What will Republic get? most of their vehicles are too big, and I doubt they will give any spacecraft to avoid stepping on X-wing.

I don't think either will see a 3rd core option for a while because of the impending specialist packs, heavies for both factions are still relatively new, same for their special forces. Repbulic just got a new commander with Anakin and Separatist got a 2nd operative and special forces with Maul and his probe droids.

I'm thinking Republic gets another operative or special forces. For operative I'd say maybe Qui Gon Jinn. For special forces either the bad batch or republic commandos. 

For Separatists, I'm saying they either get a new commander, or a special forces. Maybe Admiral Trench for commander and Magnaguard for special forces. 

As far as each faction's next heavy, Republic might get an LAAT Gunship (though it is quite big), Separatist could get the Hailfire like you said.

My guess would be some sort of emplacement/support piece akin to the dish and eweb. 

The geonosian canon could be for the CIS

And the AV-9 could be for GAR, but that might be out due to scale though.

That's true, i forgot about possible support slot additions. Though they did just get ATRTs and Staps.

Cheap unique commander for Cis and an operative (probably Ashoka) for Gar. Paired with that either another corps or special forces. Probably another corps to give them each 3 options.

My guess would've been a flipped version of what was just released. CIS would get a new Commander and Republic would get a new Operative. There would also be a new set of special forces similar to Royal Guard and Wookiees. I would've put money on the new Commander/Operative combo being Asajj and Ahsoka too.

Now that stuff is out of FFG's hands though, who knows what will be next. There's still no word about the new Imp/Rebel stuff that's coming next, and those tend to have a three month(ish) delay between announcement and release (as of the last few releases, anyways).

What about a spider droid for the CIS? You could have that along with an emplacement trooper for the GAR.

I have a strong feeling we will see Ahsoka Tano soon for GAR. For CIS, either Assage Ventress or possibly Admiral Trench as a commander. As to units, for CIS, I could see more droids filling heavy or elite role. For GAR, not sure, lots of interesting possibilities, but no strong solid contestants.

Hopefully Clone Commandos and generic Jedi unit (Wookie, Imperial Guard equivalent). Mace Windu for new commander and Ashoka for operative.

Im intrigued to know what the next core trooper will be for the CIS. with some vastly different species to choose from it will be an interesting contrast with Genosians and Battledroids fighting along side one another, like the colosseum scene from the movie.

having said that I fully expect to see Spider droids as the next release for CIS. I just hope the dont go for the derpy looking dwarf spiders.

If we follow the Rebels/Imperials release pattern, next in line would be the "Guard" SF units.

If that's the case, 100% Magnaguards. I have no clue for the Republic. Jedi Knights are often mentionned, but well, there are already enough Jedis left for Commander/Operative. Maybe something like Senate Guards or Senate Commandos ? ... or Gungan Warriors ? 😁

Next would be the Republic Operative and CIS Commander with the "Death Trooper" like SF units. Republic Commandos are my bet, as well as Kalani or whatever cheap General we saw in TCW. No clue for the Republic Operative and CIS SF unit... maybe Representative Binks ? 😁

I'd keep Ahsoka/Ventress for the Cassian/Iden slot. They are the perfect match.

I could see them releasing Tarful and some wookies and Poggle the Lesser and some geonosians. they may even make the Wookies dual faction with GAR and Rebels, actually get some use out of the Wookie Trooper Keyword.

The Infantry Support Platform seems like something really hard to create a unique niche for in-between the already released vehicles, yet something very fitting for the scale of the game so I am looking forward to see what unique twist might be applied to it to make it stand out of the crowd. 

Whatever wave it could contribute to, the CIS counterpart would most likely be the lesser of the Spider Droids.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw republic commandos come a la ISF and Iden Versio/Inferno Squad. Boss as a standalone operative, then a 7 unit republic commando box that can be split into a 4 unit generic republic commandos and a 3 unit retinue as delta squad. I can't think what the CIS equivalent would be though!

With a new company in charge, it is very hard to say. When FFG was making the releases, they were following a similar pattern to the GCW era stuff. But who knows what AMG will do, or even when they will start to release new stuff.
