ARC trooper assembly for the flight stand

So i wasn't going to start a topic bc so many people were complaining they couldn't get their boxes.

I did not get an assembly guide. I put everything together except the flight bases. Does anyone know how they go together or can show me?

There are small clear disks on the sprue. Those glue to the jetpack in the bottom center between the exhaust ports on the jetpack. Then the curved flight stand glued into the disk. Then flat part of flight stand glued to the base.

Don't use super glue. It will most likely fog up the clear plastic.
Hoping someone else can chime in with a good glue to use for these so I know what to get when I'm ready to assemble them.

Here's the instructions for one of the ARCs:

LC01 is the disk that glues to the jetpack here:

 

I haven't attached mine yet because i'm going to paint them first.

The printed instructions do not discuss actually attaching the flight stand anywhere.

 

The 2 clear plastic parts appear to work like a ball and socket joint, similar to assembling Grevious.

Canopy glue is specifically designed for attaching clear parts to other plastics without fogging. It takes significantly longer to dry though, so you'll want to have something set up to hold the parts in place.

Since the joins are at small, out of the way locations I was able to get away with using just regular super glue without the fogging being visible.

Yup, I've used it for mounting miniatures to clear plastic bases before, as well as attaching the clear rod for the Sabre tank to the base. 
Edit: Also, I seem to recall that varnish can be used to remove the fogging, but a Google search would be worthwhile to double check that.

That's a good point, it is a pretty small hard to see spot, and the part where the flight stand attaches to the base is going to be hidden with basing paste, so I'll try doing one of them with super glue first and see how it goes before I buy a different glue. But I may still need something like what @Caimheul1313 suggested for when I finally get around to attaching the windshield for the Rebel Landspeeder.

So you do use 2 of the discs for each stand? I tried to fit them around the ball in several configurations but could never get it to fit. Is the ball supposed to swivel after you glue it some how?

Believe the idea is just one disc that then glues to the ball and the model. I am away from my models right now so can't confirm.

Not unless you switch over to a magnetic ball and donut magnet. Which isn't the worst idea for transport either.
