Black Magic Woman (Resistance Extended)

Rey in her inherited Hunk O Junk with a couple of hyper-agile wingmen. Basically straightforward shoot-and-scoot, with some anti-swarm. The R4s just buy blue hard 2, which I think would be very useful for shedding stress while still keeping in a knife fight. Between Talon Rolls/K-turns with focus/lock and the Falcon able to white boost and shift the turret around without stress, I'd hope everyone is maneuverable enough to bring some mayhem.

Extended because (to my disappointment) I can't use my soon-to-arrive 1.0 Resistance Falcon in Hyperspace. That also means I can use the Pattern Analyzer, which I think will be massive fun on a T-70.

On the one hand, those T-70s are kinda over-loaded.  Heroic + 1 other upgrade feels like it'll typically be the limit for me.  There are also points here to upgrade to named pilots instead of upgrades (Ello and Snap are fine, for example, with just Heroic).

On the other, Rey is missing some of her best upgrades.  Most important for her are Finn and Rose, probably, and maybe Korr Sella.  Title is good, but Engine and Gunner?  Not as much.  To be sure, they might come in handy sometimes, but the other options are just better.

This might be nice to try:

• Black Squadron Ace (Heroic) + Advanced Optics (52) or Pattern Analyzer (53)
• Black Squadron Ace (Heroic) + Advanced Optics (52) or Pattern Analyzer (53)
• Rey (Finn, Rose, Title) + Korr Sella (95) or Freelance Slicer (92)
  • With all the Locks Rose can generate for you, Novice Technician Freelance Slicer is pretty sweet.  Korr is great for clearing a giant stack of stress at once.

I'm stumbling over figuring out the angle on this one. Sounds like you roll a red die to flip a crit damage card, and if the die comes up a hit you have to flip a face down damage card to its crit side? Maybe I'm not grokking the terminology. Help? Thanks!

It was a tiny pang to let go of the Pattern Analyzers (I want to see thundering Talon Rolls followed by focus) but the points just weren't there. 

I see what you mean about Rey's favorite friends. Finn throws up a blank that Rey can Force into something useful, or that Rose can spend for a lock—that can then be used to re-roll the other dice. Lots of options for modding, quite tricksy. I'm thinking the combos are straightforward enough I might even remember them.

I'm very fond of R4 on a T-70, for just that reason, but I ran out of points. If you were tweaking the list, what would you drop/alter to free up the extra 3 points?
