So BX and Arc's releasing august 28th

Yeah my store found out today they aren't getting Arcs or BXs. I panic-bought 2 BXs off Amazon, and I'm going to have to go in tomorrow to see if there's something I can reallocate the money I spent on pre-ordering towards.

Rumour on facebook has it that some amount of the shipment had water damage. The extent of the water damage was not mentioned, but I'd imagine for health reasons that likely involved the destruction of a significant quantity of product.

I was called by my FLGS on 8/26 and was told my 3 ARC boxes would be available on 8/28 for pick up.

Sorry to be the lucky jerk. I picked my 3x boxes of ARCs today. When i looked, there were 4x other preorders (BX & ARCs), totalling 9 boxes, behind the shelf. My store normally doesn't have problems getting preorders fulfilled. But, they sure have problems getting restock.

As a german player all I can add to this topic is that my local store always got the pre-orders in and had amble stock for everyone.

My LGS was informed this week that they would not be getting their full shipment.  Still waiting to find out if that partial shipment will include my ARCs or not.  Seems on average that most stores received anywhere from 25-33% of what they ordered, so a lot of people are getting shafted on this one.  It's not a matter of Corona being the major factor, as the going excuse this time seems to be the water damage.  Even with that, it comes off as a cop out, and even if true, something that should have been announced weeks ago, not trickled out the day of release.   

But that's the norm for FFG/Asmodee.  I mean, have they managed to get any releases out in the last year?  The Dewbackle was just the start of the troubles, with the CW launch being repeatedly delayed, Rex/Dooku accidentally releasing early, Phase IIs/Sabers being shortchanged from the get go, and THEN the Corona virus problems started.  Yay.

Mixed feelings here. Sort of understand **** happens, but they should tell us officially what happened. FFG have been having trouble with Legion since the start of the Clone Wars.

So it looks like FFg/Asmodee just doesn’t have a good update in their Pre-order site. Mine was saying pending but I got my 1x ARC in the mail today.

I understand the pain of it all, but we are in a year where everything is kinda messed up. The releases are back up, though, and we should probably just be happy about that

Depends on the nature of the water damage. Just because some people would buy it doesn't mean they can be shipped and stored though since mold has a habit of spreading. 
Or (on a more cynical note) that the money that could be made selling the damaged product at a discount is anywhere near the amount to be made from the insurance/shipping company penalty payout of writing the product off entirely.

Releases are back up, sure they are. I haven't seen B2', phase 2's, AAT', Arcs and now BX droids, and i have no faith in FFG  delivery the next 4 releases on time in 2 weeks

I got two and didnt preorder poodoo.  Just walked in and took two off the shelf at opening.  LOL.

Went the next day to three stores and all sold out.

Feels like they have the same problem since start of x-wing. They produce enough so that each player can buy 1 expansion of each at the most. Them several players buy 3+ of each and they don't have enough and have to wait for reprints. 

They should know their customers at this point. Perhaps it's covid that have put a wrench in the machinery though, but they had this problem before as well.

Got word yesterday from my LGS that between their two stores, and about 8-10 ARCs ordered, they received two.  Four were pre-ordered (two by me, two by someone else, and the other person has first dibs).  Thankfully, he's agreed to take one, and let me get the other, so we both get copies of the cards and can proxy in what we're missing.  No clue if when the other ARCs will actually show up.

I would be curious to see if there is a trend as to who gets them and who doesn't. I know here in the U.S. there have been some delivery issues but that's on the carriers not FFG. Those who don't get anything, i wonder if FFG has a harder time shipping/distributing to those places in general, or if there is some conscious decisions made higher up to get product where it is guaranteed to sell, or where tariffs are lower or whatever the reason. I doubt there are personal reasons, but i could be wrong Darth evil.

My FLGS generally doesn't have problems with FFG releases.  Then again, it is the largest gaming store in the southeast US and I'm sure "I didn't have problems" is little solace to the people still waiting
