Empire Beef kinda thingy

Hey guys,

playing in a tournament at the end of the month and with the point changes, why not try to combine some of my favourite ships into a cocktail.

 

Vynder/Deathrain/2×Inqui

The thinking is: battlefield control and anti-swarm with deathrain, fast flanking and heavy hitting with vinder, while needling and/or blocking with two naked force users, depending on the type of list I'm flying against.

 

Any thoughts?

Interesting. I would need to try it, since I haven't flown both the TIE Punisher and the Alpha-Class Star Wing in 2.0 yet. On paper, it seems solid to me.

Drop delayed fuses, and mag pulse, put a cheaper missile like ion on, FCS or passive sensors for the Inquisitors. Ion missiles help the bombs land. Passive sensors makes the v1s shots hurt more, and you're also potentially hamstringing a target to help Vynder line up and hurt them.

if you want to play these ships maybe it works better like this:

Thats just a different rocket and seismic charges added. How dies it play different than my original list?

is very similar because these are the ships that you said you want to play.

the difference is that  this deathrain:

is more flexible , can use his ability more times (because has more payloads) and tanks to diamond boron missilesis is a pain for swarms.

With the Ion missiles I still can disrupt the movement of a swarm, while bringing seismics along and still running a small two point bid.
