Love the enthusiasm!  I've tried something *very* similar to your (A) list, against...I think it was Vader + miniswarm.  They ignored Nom Lum and focused the IG's piecemeal, and I just didn't have the speed or maneuverability to get away, or the firepower to really smash anything definitively.  It was a close loss, but still kinda frustrating.  But this was months ago, so new points might have helped?  The more I play IG's, and it isn't often, the more I think I want to play just one as a flanker, with an IG-D carrier doing something interesting, and then spend the remaining points on either a "real" Ace, or maybe something chunky.  But as I've not had the opportunity to try it, you know, what do I know.  Enough with the digression!  I vote (A)!

Dedicated blocker with passive mods, multi-auto-damage, and control effects. More control from 4-LOM that easily feeds your blocker more, and then a happy-flippy I4 jankster-bot. Also two of your ships have double-taps. Also you're getting extra defensive dice.

That Nom Lumb just looks like a massive pain if you can keep him in the thick of it. And I feel like you kind of can with this list. It's not like he'll be getting stressed that often. You don't want to bump him, but you also don't want to shoot him. And you don't want to shoot through him either.

Lots of different ways to build the squads out. Should be a fun list but I don’t think it can take out a swarm.

Token passing, Reposition + evades, Multiple Advaced Maneuvers and all with a single action on a red maneuver.

 

Possible to swap c or D for B and equip all brothers with Jamming beam, which is great vs Sep Droid Swarms but not as good vs everyrhing else, IMHO.
