I don't think the rank and file troops need to be getting bonuses for being in heavy cover while suppressed, but units with low profile should get some sort of benefit for being in heavy cover. It might give Scouts and Commandos new life as full units instead of just sniper teams.

I wouldn't mind seeing a buff to the full units of scouts and commandos, but how would you improve them withount also buffing strike teams (they definitely don't need to get better)?

Then the rule shouldn't be on the card, and having a rule on the card that doesn't apply due to a different rule on the card could be confusing to many players.

I don't see it being an issue as the way to be defensive with strike teams already has you hard LOSing with the second miniature in your team.

Random idea: low profile gave you a number of save rerolls equal to half the number of models in the unit rounded up. Strike teams would only get 1 reroll but full teams would get 3.

Honestly if smoke grenades were a free action but required a recover to refresh I think those units would see more play.

Alternatively they could give those units another training slot but they'll most likely just point adjust.

I really like this idea. A lot. Would add some fun and interesting list building and tactical considerations.

Wouldnt strike teams get 2 rerolls since theres always 2 models in thr unit? And wouldnt the full team give u 4 since theres 4 models in that unit with the potential for 5 since u can add the heavy weapon?

I'm assuming he meant half the models in the unit (1 reroll for 2 models, 3 for 5).  Otherwise there wouldn't need to be any rounding.
