Herr Style 205 Posted June 27 Bit of background for the story: - Im originally British, but now live and work in Canada and have Canadian citizenship. I work with a lot of Americans and we always have a good laugh together on our meetings online. (I’ve met some as well in person when we do big projects). They are always ribbing me about The Queen and other things British , I give it back as well. Anyway, big conference call and one of the Canadian guys mentions about Canada Day next week and we will not be about. The senior US guy mentions about them being away as well towards the end of the week and taking two days off. So I said, “ I don’t believe you lot celebrate Canada Day as well, we only get one day off!” Lots of laughter and banter all round and then I finished with, “I know you don’t really, let me be the first to wish you all, Happy Traitors Day!” I’ll see myself out.........
