Supertimland 5 Posted May 24 (edited) Going to play my first games tonight. My LGS finally had something in the way of a staple in stock for once, so I managed to pick up a box of taun tauns to try out too. These are the lists I settled on based on what I have currently and what advice I've seen and been given on this forum. Rebels - 10 activations - 800/800 Luke Skywalker (160 + 25 = 185) --Force Push (10), Hope (3), Emergency Stims (12) Rebel Officer (50 + 0 = 50) Rebel Troopers (40 + 22 = 62) --Z-6 Trooper (22) Rebel Troopers (40 + 22 = 62) --Z-6 Trooper (22) Rebel Troopers (40 + 22 = 62) --Z-6 Trooper (22) Rebel Troopers (40 + 22 = 62) --Z-6 Trooper (22) Rebel Commandos (Strike Team) (20 + 28 = 48) --DH-447 Sniper (28) Tauntaun Riders (90 + 9 = 99) --Tenacity (4), Comms Jammer (5) AT-RT (55 + 30 = 85) --HQ Uplink (10), AT-RT Rotary Blaster (20) AT-RT (55 + 30 = 85) --HQ Uplink (10), AT-RT Rotary Blaster (20) Commands: Son of Skywalker (1), You Serve Your Master Well (1), My Ally Is the Force (2), Full of Surprises (2), Covering Fire (3), Return of the Jedi (3), Standing Orders (4) Imperials - 10 Activations - 800/800 General Veers (80 + 10 = 90) --Aggressive Tactics (10) Stormtroopers (44 + 24 = 68) --DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) Stormtroopers (44 + 24 = 68) --DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) Stormtroopers (44 + 24 = 68) --DLT-19 Stormtrooper (24) Shoretroopers (52 + 0 = 52) DF-90 Mortar Trooper (36 + 0 = 36) Scout Troopers (Strike Team) (20 + 28 = 48) --DLT-19x Sniper (28) 74-Z Speeder Bikes (75 + 10 = 85) --HQ Uplink (10) 74-Z Speeder Bikes (75 + 10 = 85) --HQ Uplink (10) AT-ST (170 + 30 = 200) --Imperial Hammers Elite Armor Pilot (10), 88 Twin Light Blaster Cannon (20) Commands: Ambush (1), Maximum Firepower (1), Pinned Down (2), Evasive Maneuvers (2), Coordinated Fire (3), Imperial Discipline (3), Standing Orders (4) Any easy changes, in particular wargear/powers? Command changes (I was shooting in the dark with these)? TIA Edited May 24 by Supertimland error
Welshie13 90 Posted May 28 You really want the heavy option on the Shoretroopers. To get the 32 points to have it I would swap the bike HQ uplinks to long range comlinks to save 5 points on each and drop one DLT from a stormtrooper unit.
arnoldrew 1,712 Posted May 28 (edited) That Rebel Officer isn't doing much for you. If you drop it and all the Comms upgrades on your Support units you can bring another Z-6 Rebel Trooper squad. The Speeder Bikes are probably better off with Long Range comms as well. With those savings and if you drop a DLT you can add the heavy onto the Shores. Edit: LOL, I just saw the other guy suggested the exact same thing. Edited May 28 by arnoldrew

Yeah I'll be making that shoretrooper change for the next game.@arnoldrew I only have 4 rebel trooper units unfortunately. If I want to add more rebel corps it would have to be fleets of which I have 2 units. Edited May 28 by Supertimland
