Karasu Vale 0 Posted June 1, 2010 Hello Anima Forums I would like your advice on my new character. His name is Haru Anhur and he is a Ranger who practices Falconry and i chose Rafeal Beryll for my Elan giving him a druid-ish skillset so realy he is a ranger/druid hybrid. He has a spirit totem which, can transform like a druid but mostly it stays in a falcons form, anyways how would you go about his skills or abilities this is my very first anima character. Blackburn2 0 Posted June 1, 2010 Well, as a ranger you already see a selection of important skills to the concept in the class' reduced costs and innate bonuses. I find that Navigation is another good skill for a ranger to have if you tend to be the one leading people places, and may be a good place to purchase Aptitude in a Subject in. You may wish to purchase another weapon module in case you want to use something other than the bow (such as a knife or an axe), or vice versa if the bow isn't your free weapon proficiency. Natural Armor and Mystical Armor are also good purchases, as you won't have high wear armor. Finally, you'd be wise to spend some DP on the Running Shot, Moving Target, and Multiple Target modules from the GM Screen if you are bow focused. Same with the Additional Attack and Armor Reduction Modules found in the same. Other than that, I'm not sure what else would be important to you. DP spent to get more level based bonuses in Animals, Herb Lore and Perception secondary abilities will always be good, of course. That's a general assumption of course. It's possible your backstory would suggest something else, or that you have no bow whatsoever.
