501 battalion

Recommended Posts

Hello there:

i’m a new gamer, and in this pandemic period i’ve decided to create this little army; i’ve tried this game few times, so any advice will be atcepted.
this is my list so far (skirmish)

- rex (aggressive tactics,overwatch)=104

- ph1(DC15,specialist,recon intel)=101

- ph1(RPS6,clone capt.,overwatch,targeting scopes)=103

-ph2(mortar,ph2,overwatch,targeting scopes)=108

416/500

the missing point will be covered with ATRT or ARC.

Waiting for the general of the list, anakin skywalker (any news about him??)

i’ll wait for your advice ✌️

Overwatch on Rex seems less effective since he can really only use it once with his 2 pip. I usually give him Off Push since one of his cards let him recover for free, i get at least 2 uses out of it and his mates can use it. Recon Intel is also best put on Rex. That way he and 2 of his clone units get a scout 2 move.

I've actually found some use out of using Overwatch on Rex during the turn I use his 1 pip too; if you take a standby with another clone activation, he can spend it to get him closer to the action, which makes it a little more challenging for your opponent to completely play around it. I'd still agree it's limited in its use but it isn't completely worthless

Good ideas

I guess i always seem to lose my Rex if i play him too aggressively.

In skirmish this may not be as much of a problem
