However ninja can only vote for you or I today, as killing gnip won't end the game, and he won't be able to kill whilst roleblocked, and will thus lose when we vote him off tomorrow.

He dispatched ovi to prevent scum winning before he could is my theory.

In that case IV got to go with the best liar deserving the win, which would also be @matt for the the triple dip doc dash.

If @Matt3412 is lying, bravo, well played Matt. His posts on page 5 point to him being immediately suspicious of Mad's town doc claim, which seems to suggest he was also doc.

Pod's town RB claims have been consistent, and came even earlier than the doc claims.

I've been suspicious of GNIP/CNinja from the beginning. GNIP hasn't claimed at all, and I believe he may have been role-fishing with this early post.

CNinja has provided the only explanation for ovi's death, so I'm inclined to believe him, although Pod's explanation of GNIP as scum and CNinja as third-party is worryingly possible. But still, I'm willing to put my doubts about CNinja aside. And looking back on the game, he seems to have made a lot of choices that would make sense as town.

I think GNIP should be the vote.

No, I wanted to start a discussion. I threw out all the possible interpretations that had occurred to me, so that in case I missed something somebody could point it out, and then stated my assumption. The same applies to the post Bertie quoted. I never wanted or expected anybody to claim. I felt it was so obvious that that was the wrong thing to do I didn't even bother putting in an aside reminding people not to claim.

 

CNinja has always seemed pretty town to me, which is a problem 'cause there is no way town has 3 docs, a role blocker, a rolecop, and a vigilante. Given that 2 docs have been confirmed, I am torn. Either Matt or Pod is scum and right now I am on the Pod side of the see-saw. CNinja seems likely to be a 3rd party as a result. I will operate under the assumption that he, like most 3rd parties in this forum, wins alongside the dominant party. I am therefore willing to let him live for now and

After debate, you settle on Lieutenant PodRacer as the traitor.  As an officer he had the motive and opportunity to access restricted areas, and he's a little fast and loose with the regs.  With the company captain's permission, you take him to the brig.  Questioning indicates he's probably not the traitor; his strange orders over the past few days were merely an attempt to get top suspects in the same room.

@PodRacer has been sent to the brig.  He was a Town Roleblocker.

Night 3 begins, and will end in 24 hours at 9PM GMT.

In the early hours of the morning, ARC Trooper @CaribbeanNinja takes matters into his own hands and eliminates the Clawdite impersonating @GhostofNobodyInParticular.  The struggle is fierce but brief; before he goes, GNIPs stabs Ninja with a syringe.  Ninja is rushed off-world for treatment while @Matt3412 is promoted to ARC Trooper in his absence.  The 91st Recon Corps arrives and the CIS begins to crumble on all fronts.  The remaining clones are released from the brig.  Good work, troopers; just another week in the GAR!

@GhostofNobodyInParticular has been killed.  He was a Mafia Poisoner.

I'd created this setup with the notion Town would grow suspicious of so many power roles, leading to unconvincing claims and opportunities for scum to push.  There are changes I'd make now; Ovi pointed out the third Doc is an absurd enough claim to become plausible, and I'd trade out the Rolecop and Blocker as well for less intrusive roles, I think (though the blocker led to some fun interactions.)

Town had some lucky breaks with a N1 block on scum and a vig snipe on Ovi, and this probably would have been a much shorter game if I hadn't killed Mads. 🙁  In the future I need to work on making my setups more durable to deal with that kind of occurrence.

Glad we won, but that was a very pro-town setup. On the last day I was suspecting Battlefleet was scum after all and GNIP/ovi were his allies. Scum Rolecop/roleblocker/poisoner would be a good counter to three docs. 

Sorry for suspecting you so long @CaribbeanNinja, I was right about GNIP though.
