I think the only thing I would suggest is that your ships are over-upgraded, and your squadron capacity isn’t fully leveraged. In other words: Krennic and Spinal Armament and Stronghold can all go, and you can turn those points into more fighters to make Sloane even nastier. With enough cheap TIEs and squadron commands to spare, you should be able to throw multiple clouds of them at the opponent, and especially with Dengar, he won’t be able to stop them all. In the end, it will give you more offensive punch than Krennic & Spinals, I think. Stronghold is a cool title, but it’s VERY defensive. You should be the squadron aggressor here; the opponent should be terrified of that swarm of bees, and opt to keep his fighters close and use them as defenders. If he does go on the attack, you’re gonna tear almost any opposing force apart. The Jabbawookie 5,613 Posted March 12 As said above, more squadrons and fewer upgrades. It’s why Sloane is there, and there aren’t many true damage sources in the fleet. I used to love running a cloud of generic Sloane TIEs; it used to be you could fly carefully around flak and trade up against expensive squadrons. Now they die so fast to an SSD it’s almost comical (1-2 rounds for everyone.) Major Rhymer isn’t very useful overall, but remedies this terrible matchup by nullifying QLTs. The fighters still need greater flak resistance though: aces or Defenders, most likely. Squall is an absolutely amazing title: it gives you the alpha strike, it lets you bomb round one, it allows for double-healing on the station after you kill their squadrons, and means you can chase fleeing enemies half the play area away. jp82729 161 Posted March 13 You could swap out SW7, Spinals and Local Fire Control for leading shots, LTTs and gunnery teams for the same price. A more standard ISD2 build, but with only one big hitter ship in your list, getting off that front attack is nice. Plue LS and LTTs help with the flak.
