The Jabbawookie 5,613 Posted February 2 I think you’ll want AFFM more than once a game. Cap116 185 Posted February 3 I don't think AFFM!, Wedge, and Ray Antilles will work together, since both Wedge and AFFM! resolve by spending a squadron token outside of the ship's normal activation window, and you can only have 1 squadron token on the ship at a time. Unless you plan to always use a Squadron command, in which case Wedge can use the token on turn 1, then on turn 2, bank the token for AFFM! to trigger at the top of turn 3, but on both turn 1 and 2, you are burning the command dial without using it. My thoughts RE: Wedge and AFFM!, you use AFFM turns 3-4 until you're engaged in combat then discard the card for a final turns effect, the turn you discard you use Rays token on wedge to provide the cloak. AFFM is great for getting into range, but if you're tied down speed 3 means nothing, Wedge enables the same de facto speed but lets you move that distance 1 after everything else, this can be crucial in getting a B-wing out of engagement and into a Yavaris position. I've used Wedge in a few games now and he imo feels more powerful than AFFM! (after turn 3) he makes tying down B-wings and others a chore and can help free up those vital shots, great if first player as well!
