TauntaunScout 4,276 Posted January 24 (edited) This one goes out to @Imperial Advisor Arem Heshvaun @ScummyRebel @Tubb @Fistofriles and whoseover else is highly cultured. I finally made some progress on painting a hero and a squad of 10 Annointed People. I included a comparison pic of the Grenadier (Mirliton) lizardman to a Legion human. The scale of these is all over the board, as they came from 3 different companies. The Grenadier ones match up pretty good scale-wise, and would work well for anyone wishing to add Annointed People to a Legion game. They come in blister packs of 4: One imagines that wookie stats would be a good place to start on rules for them. The paintjobs on these are not quite done (and I may strip and totally redo the hero) but they are at tabletop quality. The original WEG pic was black and white, and for some reason I always imagined them as being orange. But the written background says they're green. Therefore I painted my hero and squad leader orange, with the rest of the troops green. Interestingly, except for the Martian Metals lizard, they're all still available from various vendors. Sharkbelly 742 Posted January 25 Very nice! It's always great to see old models get some love. I've thought about adding some aliens to me Star wars collection as well. I still have a bunch of the old WEG stuff, and have tried out a few games in the last couple of years.

And names of suppliers of the old Grenadier models if you want to use those. Edited January 27 by TauntaunScout

Former Imperial Senator, Governor Quorl Matrin* always fancied himself a tastefully refined and cultured man. He once even gifted his seats to the opera of then Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Despite his great distance from the Core Worlds (or because of it), Governor Quorl took great lengths to keep up with fashion and trends on Coruscant. When it became in vouge to collect and show off religious artifacts from pre hyper drive worlds, the Governor took it upon himself to liberate the deific idol of Vol from the native race. The Rebellion, eager to gain inroads and allies against The Empire by any means necessary, arrive to counter the Governor’s cultural appropriation. *A Systems Governor is an Imperial political rank below that of and subservient to a Sector Moff. Probably a smaller point game, 600 - 700. For Govenor Quorl use the amalgamation of Veers and Krennic. Add an Impeirial Officer as his adjutant. He has access to any Imperial units of your choice. He has access to Operatives as they were hired to locate the idol. All unique Rebels heroes and leaders are allowed, as they are here to help the native populace, but no heavy units, walkers or speeders. Most of their units should be the Anointed Ones. Special Rule at the end of 6 turns, if the Rebels win, Vader arrives to choke out Quorl for misuse of Imperial assets. 1 TauntaunScout reacted to this
