Armchairjedi 2 Posted January 14 Hoping to get a sanity check and some feedback on my list for a Prime tourney this weekend. I've never faced an SSD so I'm not sure how this will perform in that kind of matchup. I tried to choose objectives where I can use the dictor's strengths. I've got another version where I dump Wulf, shift Brunson to the dictor, Iden to Demolisher, and put in Titus and Hondo, and gain 3pts of bid. I like Wulf for being able to repair/ Projection Expert at will but he's pricey. Hondo at least gives me a pocket engineering token. Titus gives me an opportunity to push a ship into the rift or other shenanigans if opportunity. Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated. Packerman29 186 Posted January 14 Against a non SSD fleet this is pretty good. Against an SSD your apts are gonna do absolutely nothing. Almost every SSD build has a damage control officer. So you might want to think about a Vader boarding party somewhere.
Armchairjedi 2 Posted January 14 Thank for the feedback. What are your thoughts on Vader vs relying on my crits+Suppressor to burn out the Contains? I've never used a boarding team before and it feels like something they can see coming, and the Raider doesn't seem like a durable delivery method, even with Iden. I could put him on Demo but I feel like Ordnance Experts will get more done. Also interesting in hearing people's opinion on Wulff vs no-Wulff.

Rimsen 1,381 Posted January 20 (edited) Your fleet could leverage Screed instead of Motti. It'd also let Vader BT sit on the raider. Also I feel you could leave out Corvus, unless it's your flagship. Edited January 20 by Rimsen
Cpt ObVus 1,193 Posted January 23 You could consider dropping Comms Net and Morna Kee or Maarek and building Suppressor into the “Super Suppressor” (Suppressor, Slicer Tools, Minister Tua, ECMs; called the “Jerk Gozanti” by some, it’s extremely disruptive and nigh-unkillable unless you’re opponent spends far too much effort to do so). It’ll help you burn out those defense tokens AND disrupt commands, and unless you get double arced, an SSD will have a helluva time trying to kill it, because Electronic Countermeasures will constantly protect your Scatter. FTFY. Intel officer is pretty standard on SSD.
Cpt ObVus 1,193 Posted January 24 (edited) Ah, fair. Still, that’s a couple of solid turns of screwing with his command dials, and a bit of fiddling with his defense tokens, which might be disruptive enough to mess up the SSD badly?
