Mad Cat 2,250 Posted January 14 Disposable Capacitors is a must on the Raider II. You could even try Gunnery teams as OL pulse doesn't exhaust. Arquitens can drop to a light cruiser version and you could run it even cheaper with just Needa/TRC if you wanted better squadrons or to squeeze in a flotilla. Squadrons I would add tempest and Valen in place of the TIE-As. Valen hits hard and has a scatter when the enemy finally get to him. Tempest for an extra point shines if the enemy are light on squadrons. neither the raider or Arquitens look as like a threat in Hyperspace assault. Besides the raider is fast enough to get where it needs to and the D-Caps increases the threat range and survivability. Corvus could give you more out maneuvre effect. Planetary ion cannon would be better. Opening Salvo with only three gun ships is a little risky, the new surprise attack is a little safer. 1 The Jabbawookie reacted to this
