Tales from the Fringe Anthology OOC

go ahead and narrate to hotel and Field.

Hotel; rooms are 20 credits per individual, per day. they have "Crew Accommodations" a single room with bunks, in case you don't want to be separated.. For Crash, the price is 10 credits, per droid, per day. The rooms themselves are clean, but the floors and walls seemed to be stained from light traffic and never bothered to do a deep clean. (probably just kept clean with a broom.)

Field: there is a main building that houses the office, ATC tower, and a maintenance hanger that can handle mid sized freighters. on the far side there is a light fence surrounding the salvage yard/scrap facilities. The Field itself has several freighters and smaller craft parked in loose order, there are marked spaces, but a few don't seemed to have bothered to stay within their assigned area.

Updated Destiny Pool.

We'll reserve a single day, so 90 credits. I suggest we go with the crew room, makes things easier in some regards and means we can't be picked off or isolated. I'll post for Sienna/Barda's trip to the hotel (if you don't mind) when I can.

I made the IC post to narrate Aleena and Cadena leaving the spaceport and reaching the landing field.

Since the cheaper hotel is adjacent to the landing field, I gave it a name on the way past. :D

(And if we run into a hutt anywhere, how about it being name Pisa the Hutt? :D)

@RuusMarev, any check(s) to find the fighter?

Cadena: Easy Perception with two Setbacks since it's been a few days.....

Aleena: Easy Seek, (Is this a Discipline check, correct?)

Well, Pizza the Hutt is already taken ... and I can't even remember when/where/how.

(Curse my aging memory!)

Just a matter of rolling the Force dice and getting 2 usable pips.

Aleena might have to try several time before getting a direction, but let's see what happens ...

They seek it here, there, everywhere: Seek power check: 2eF 2 Light Side, 1 Dark Side

It worked the first time! :)

Unless the vessel itself is a powerful NPC (such as a Nemesis or a plot-important named Rival), there's no need to make it an opposed check.

... And now I'm suddenly reminded of all the variants on "brain-ships" which I've read about in sci-fi ... :D

Well, I'm thinking back to Anne McCaffrey's novel "The Ship Who Sang".

Not to mention Star Trek's V'ger, although that one was really an AI and not an organic brain stuck in a ship like Helva (sp?) in McCaffrey's work.

Aleena was able to find where it was.. as you approach, even Cadena can see the mess strewn around. a crumpled section of wing and various debris are all thats left. Scrapes in the hardpacked soil are deep, and head towards the scrap yard.

Aleena and Cadena get to do a Fear check! Average difficulty, vs Discipline or Cool

(The Force around this spot is full of pain, fear, and anger...)

Alas, it looks like Aleena was a delicately-raised young maiden, unused to terrible sights ...

Afraid?: Fear check: 1eP+2eA+2eD 0 successes, 1 advantage
p-s.pnga-a-a.pnga-s.pngd-f.pngd-f-th.png

So +1 Setback on any checks during this scene, but +´1 Boost on her the next character's Fear check. Alternatively, since we're using Morality, +2 Conflict (based on the Difficulty of the check).

ETA: I realised that I'd misread who would receive the +1 Boost. It's not Aleena's next Fear check, but instead the next PC's Fear check.

Corrected Boost recipient (not Aleena, but next character to make a Fear check)

Setback and Boost...

She can feel the imposing presence of darkside energy by whatever caused the damage to the fighter.

Cadena won't find any major component identifiable as a droid, most of the debris appears to be from the ship.. shattered transperasteel from the canopy, some control surfaces and engine components that haven't been cleaned up yet.. what ever was large enough to be hauled away seems to be towards the salvage yard.
