They managed to get planet-killing weaponry onto a sub-3KM ship. Something smaller than a Resurgent class can, in less than a minute, kill a planet. ...What uh. What's What's the point of naval combat? Really any combat? Once you can fit planet killers, things that well and truly annihilate planets, onto your main vessels... There... isn't really a point to combat anymore. Like, Starfighters are useless now. The Xyston's guns were vulnerable only because the shields were down. No fleet can engage beyond the range of a planet killer -or within it-. That's... That's it. That's the apex of naval combat. You -cannot- **** up Naval combat more than it has been ****** up.
