New Player - Hoth/Endor Help?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! I just got into Star Wars Legion. I picked up models strictly on what characters & models I like from the franchise. I'm a Star Wars fan so anything Star Wars I feel i must have/play. I'm hoping to get some help on building a list with these models. I'm planning to play some friends at first to get my feet wet but eventually want to play in tournaments. I would appreciate any assistance please.

Han

Leia

Chewbacca

2 Units if Rebel Veterans

2 Units of Wookie Warriors

1 Unit of Tauntaun Riders

What are good "pip" cards? What are good upgrade cards for these? What model/s should I take out? What should be my next purchase? etc.

Thank you,

Barby

Hey there! I'm still a bit new myself, but a good rule of thumb is to get the Starter Box. Gives you all the cards and whatsits you need to play the game, as well as gives some core units for a good price. Plenty of folks buy two and split with a friend, which when getting it on Amazon comes to $60 for 4 Rebel Troopers, 2 AT-RTs, Luke Skywalker (with an extra for modification), and all your essential pieces. Best of luck!

As said the Core set, really does add a lot of the basic stuff you need including basic orders, so Purchase wise its a must.  However assuming you have access to that, and going with the theme of stand alone, ATRTs are great value, 1 or 2 of them for sure, and Commandos are also a good purchase, and so is the Specialists, Medical Droids are really useful in squads.  Please let the overall message here be "Buy a Core Set" and maybe split it with a friend, to get you 2 core, 1 atrt and Luke.
