I posit the following;

Forty was a sith lord. There must always be two. Master and Apprentice. Bertie was the apprentice, he died, he went and converted Ebon, which is why Cal thought he was a recruiter. It of course also explains Ebon outing himself by voting biggs yesterday.

well I'm a town innocent child and i have x-shot bulletproof which i used tonight, I was in a chat (neighbourhood) with forty but wasn't recruited as my alignment is still town as at start of game.. however I do hold my hands up to being had by forty

Maybe there’s some kind of mentor-like condition where they can’t kill without two players?  Vengefuls normally make their kill at twilight.

It still wouldn’t make perfect sense, but I’m reaching here.

If you were in a chat with forty before, why are we hearing this now? Why not when all the third party recruiter stuff was being bandied about?

You were willing to vote for forty yesterday, why didn’t you say anything at that point? And to be honest...why were you willing to vote him? #justsithapprenticethings?

If forty had you in a chat, and you thought he was town, then why didn’t you push against Gnips when he claimed gossip?

The complete lack of night kill is throwing me here. I see a few possibilities;

1. Jabba shot Ebon with a bulletproof

2. Biggs Vengeful has an additional modifier that blocks any other kills for the night, but we don’t get to hear about it

3. Forty changed Ebons alignment but didnt confer the ability to kill on him

One other thing that bothered me was the apparent attempt on Forty when Cal bussed forty and himself and wound up dead, but;

as said above that is my bad, I dropped the ball and I just haven't been as active in this game as I should've been.. frankly im surprised I didn't have my bulletproof eaten up earlier but I've been quite aloof forty probably picked up on that in our chat.. after yesterdays showing I decided to sit down and try and catch up although I confess I still feel out of place..

on my re read of my chat with forty he did mention early on he tried to open a chat with Cal but failed, it appears now this was most likely slip on fortys part that I should've picked up on far earlier..

 

I think I'll sit out the next few on here till I'm used to the format again, whatsapp has spoiled me

I mean thats not a super town response. I’m going to vote you for that. Because the rest of your game is relatively town. If not for Cal’s callout and this play, I’d be torn. If its Jabba...well, bully for Jabba, well played to pull it out at the end.
