As Tam reaches the top, the tunnel curves sharply back on itself. When she tries to climb back over the edge, she catches herself before plunging down where the tunnel branches. It continues on straight, but right at the edge it drops away sharply. She sees a VT and 4 Vynocks.

Tam goes first, and is up now.

Okay, Easy with a Setback.

It would be an Average Coordination check to bypass the drop-off.

does she need to bypass the drop before shooting? (what is the needed dice order?)

ummm is that straight Intelligence, or does she get her ranks?

She has a rank in that, as it is her secondary specialty.

Tam can trigger a crit to take out two of them. I should have specified that crossing the gap is an action. I'll let you keep the roll and just choose when to apply it.

Please go ahead and post IC for Tam, and don't forget to narrate her climb.

Kebiin mechanics: : 3eA+1eP+2eD 2 successes, 2 advantage

(possibly using Eye for Detail depending on how that would apply...)

Okay, that would give you three Advantage.

Based on the success: the tech is multiple things hooked together and with co-dependencies: a backup generator providing power to the other devices and to the consoles, a backup sensor package, a wireless receiver for various sorts of signals that is fed into another device that un-jumbles the signals, sifts through them, and sends them to the consoles through cables. Making the jumble more confusing is that it is pretty bare bones, missing some components that were easier to quickly break down and move, as the present devices are hooked into many parts of the ship and fastened to the deck. Anything in particular you'd like to spend the Advantage on?

Uhhhhhh..... hmm, ok.. Can she access the system, find out if this ....assembly is being used to further automate whats left of the ship, or is this a monitoring system, sending information about this sector to somewhere else? (or if there is someone still onboard?)

It is currently inoperable, but with the Advantage, I'll say that it's still intact enough for you to attempt to interface and find out more about its purpose. Average Computers check with a Boost.

It is multi-purpose, but it is a monitoring system of sorts. It was collecting data from locations nearby and sending them to the ship's computers. You can't tell whether or not it used to send information to other systems or whatever, but it doesn't any more as it isn't operable. It may have also been used for further automation, but if it was, those pieces are gone.

Alright... can we scan for life forms? (maybe determine how long the system has been down? access any logs...)

Make a Daunting Perception check to get an idea how long it's been down.

The ship's computer has been wiped entirely.

You can't use the sensor package as there are key components missing. Given time (not long, but long enough it would be a screen wipe) you can make an Average Mechanics check to harvest components to repair it.
