Still the same ships and squadrons you find in Armada, but the rules will be quite different. Not sure if I should still call it "Warlords" or something else. It's all space combat, no invasions, bombardments or blockading. You'll get victory medals for destroying your opponents' units. Different units will be able to shoot at different "ranges" (An ISD-II can do more damage from a further distance than a Gladiator, for example, much like Armada). If you've ever played a Commands & Colors game like BattleCry, Memoir '44, etc. it will be very similar to that.

If you want any more details than that I should probably start my own thread.

I've heard of Memoir 44 but never played. Seems like we're heading to a conclusion here so I'd be open to you posting a new thread so we can hit the ground running on that one when this one wraps up.

I’ve also been working on a system, though it’s fairly similar to the one we have.  It turns out that when:

Jump cost = squadron value

Total carrying capacity = squadron + command values

Squadron capacity = squadron value

Repair cost = ship cost / engineering value

You hit something resembling balance across the different ships and variants.

I'm sorry for the wait everyone, but due to an unforeseen personal problem I'm going to have to forfeit my Empire.

I've added in one more turn of orders.

Given the fact I won't be able to play further, I suggest @LTD divides my assets in the manner most conducive to fun, rather than kingmaking @Bertie Wooster (which, for the record, I totally would have done.)

Thank you LTD for doing a fantastic job modding (love the surprises in here.)  I know it to be hard work, especially when certain players are slow.

Thank you everyone else for being worthy opponents; I look forward to playing with you in the future.

Again, I'm sorry for this inconvenience.

Should we just call it a four-way tie? Without Jabba around I'll be in the strongest position, but I feel like @The Jabbawookie outplayed me for a large part of this game, and @GhostofNobodyInParticular and @FortyInRed were essential to me staying alive.

But if Forty and GNIP want to keep playing until someone is dominant, I'm willing to do that too.
