Weikel 68 Posted October 15, 2019 So with an upcoming influx of pauldrons for stormtroopers, what colors are canon for the different models? I'm a rebel player and just getting around to painting the stormtroopers from the core set. With the upcoming stormtroopers upgrade expansion, what colors make sense for the different models between standard squad leaders, captains, specialists, and the heavies? Sentry71 26 Posted October 16, 2019 From Wookiepedia: A black colored pauldron indicated enlisted troopers, white was for sergeants, and orange for unit leaders or captains. Snipers wore blue pauldrons, and Grenadiers wore red. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Pauldron 2 Weikel and twincast reacted to this
BigBadAndy 640 Posted October 16, 2019 The only things I recall ever appearing on film were orange and black. 2 twincast and Weikel reacted to this
Alpha17 2,853 Posted October 16, 2019 I use Orange or White to signify my squad leaders, and black for my DLT-19. I'll likely use black for the Specialist and heavies, and red for the captain. That mostly follows the "canon" rank system, and should help keep everyone identifiable. 2 Weikel and twincast reacted to this
Weikel 68 Posted October 17, 2019 Thanks for the input. I'll start with orange and maybe white or grey for the standard squad leaders to represent sergeants. Then we'll see when the upgrade packs come out.
