P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Aww... You miss, with 2 Threat, but 2 Triumph. What do you want to do? The 2 Threat will be that the next active allied character gets 1 Setback, do you want to use 1 Triumph to upgrade the difficulty of their next check? You could use the other to gain +1 Ranged or Melee defense.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 That works for me, basically they soild themselves and are freaking out. 1 P-47 Thunderbolt reacted to this
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 What do you want Darien/Falmok to do? They are at Medium range of the alley, but do not have line of sight with Cade's guys. They have a shot at the guys on the roof though.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 They'll take over for Kara, sending her to Cade.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Okay, do they fire from where they are, or move to Short range?
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 Move to short, unless theres an advantage from further back , presenting a better attack angle
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 No, it's the same. Darien will run forward up to cover (1) near where Kara is and fire up at the guys on the roof: Shooting at the Pyke goons on the roof: 3eP+2eD+4eS 0 successes, 2 threat He misses, and adds a Boost to their next check. What does Falmok do?
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 Is there an access to the roof, like a fire escape, or only building access?
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 (edited) There is a fire escape in the alley. Falmok doesn't know that it is there, however, and it would take him two maneuvers to reach it. (for climbing it, it would count as difficult terrain, and to climb it to the top would be medium range) Edited October 7, 2019 by P-47 Thunderbolt
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 Kara points to it as she moves to engage with the alley.. 1 P-47 Thunderbolt reacted to this
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 So you're going to have Falmok move to engage with the fire escape?
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 Using the covering fire from Darien, once Falmok reaches the top, Darien will join him.. (the plan for now)
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Okay, that puts Falmok, Kara, and Cade in the alleyway with the goons. I' going to say that they are engaged with each other given the tightness of the alleyway and the presence of the goons. You can go ahead and post what transpires in the IC. P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Now a third minion group goes. Free maneuver: Aim Action: toss armor-piercing grenade (they are tossing it from the roof, so it is Simple because they aren't throwing it, they are pretty much just drooping it) at Falmok: Tossing grenade at Falmok: 1eP+2eA+1eB+1eS 0 successes, 1 advantage Wow. Those blanks. You got really lucky. With the one Advantage they will add a Boost to the next active allied character.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Please make an Average Vigilance (group) check to see if you saw where the guys who dropped the grenade are.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 With 2 Setback
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 Falmok : 3eP+2eD+2eS 3 successes CADE : 3eA+2eD+2eS 1 success, 1 threat Kara : 2eA+2eD+2eS 0 successes, 1 threat Darien : 2eA+2eD+2eS 0 successes, 1 threat
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 It wasn't for initiative, it was to see if you saw where the guys who threw the grenade were, so Falmok can't use Survival. It was also supposed to be a group check, but oh well. I'll take Cade's roll since it succeeded. The grenade came from the roof opposite from the first group (so on your right when you're facing the alley, whereas the first rooftop group is on your left when you're facing the alley). It's now back to the top of the order: 1) Pyke goon group 3s2) Pyke goon group 2s2a3) 1st PC 2s1a4) 2nd PC 1s2a5) 3rd PC 1s2a6) 4th PC 1s1a7) Pyke goon group 1s1t (free maneuver)
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 (edited) Because you are tightly packed in the alley, I'm adding a Boost to all non-thrown ranged attacks and reducing the cost to activate Blast by 2 (meaning Blast triggers automatically, but if the attack misses they can spend 1 Advantage to trigger it instead of the normal 3) Edited October 7, 2019 by P-47 Thunderbolt
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Now the group in the alley goes: Maneuver: fall back to Short range Action: Fire at Cade: Shooting at Cade: 1eP+2eA+2eB+1eC+1eS 3 successes, 1 advantage A solid hit, dealing 11 damage to Cade again (he should now be at 8 total from 2 hits dealing 11) and triggers Blast dealing 7 damage to Falmok and Kara (they're using scatterguns). The Advantage will pass a Boost on to the next allied character.

RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 7, 2019 Cade will try and take out some the ground based goons (before they kill him)
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Average difficulty, maneuver to engage.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 But it isn't Cade's turn yet, it is the turn of the group on the roof.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 7, 2019 Maneuver: Aim Action: Fire at Darien (auto-fire) (3 Boosts: Aim=1, Threat=1, Advantage=1): Shooting at Darien: 1eP+2eA+3eB+2eD+2eS 3 successes, 1 threat They hit him for 12 damage, but with the Threat, they lose the benefit of cover until they take a maneuver to regain their cover.
