RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Datapad; verification the only thing on it is the proposal. Prisoners: location of Tarrk. Wobegon. Was the Leader at the bar Varn Kallo. If we can access the local holonet/public records: same information as asking from prisoners.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Only thing on the datapad was the proposal. You can tell that it is a very well encrypted datapad, so you're lucky it was left unlocked. By looking through the bounty boards, you see that there is a local governmental bounty on Kallos for 5,000 alive. His rap sheet is pretty long, mostly racketeering and loan sharking, some assault and battery, murder, the works. You can't find any information on Tarrk, but you find two establishments with "Wobegon" in the name: "The Wobegon Weequay" and "The Wobegon Wookiee" both are dive bars, neither have stellar reputations. If you want, you can go ahead and IC the finding of the above information. If you wish to interrogate the prisoners, please make an Average Coercion check with one Upgrade (don't forget Intimidating).
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Did the bounty board show a picture of Kallo? If so, is it the leader from the bar?
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Yes.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Awesome. For the upgrade on coercion check, what would that look like? (Itll be Cade, assisted by Falmok, unless Darien has higher )
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 1 Challenge die, 1 Difficulty die. If you use Intimidating, it would downgrade it to Average for the cost of 1 Strain (on whoever has the talent and is conducting the interrogation).
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 The assist would add 1 Boost.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Ok. They'll question the goons separately, since they would be separated from each other. Ideally they wouldn't know they weren't alone.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Separated where? you've only got one holding cell area. Unless you wanted to lock one of them in the extra room of bunks.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Yes. First up, Dref.... : 2eA+1eP+1eB+2eD 2 failures, 3 advantage Hmmm....
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Please go ahead and post your interrogation IC, I'll post what he says there in response.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Cade is going to jab him in the face, using one of the captured brass knuckles.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Okay, roll Coercion with the same difficulty, but take an additional 2 Boosts, as 1, you just punched him in the face, and 2, he now sees that you are willing to entertain violence outside of combat. Take another strain if you want to use Intimidating. (by the way, the reason it's RP instead of P is because he is scared of his higher-ups and doesn't want to give them up. I'm not just arbitrarily changing stats)
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 First though, please roll a Brawl check.
RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Brawl: : 1eA+2eP 2 successes, 3 advantage Interrogate part 2: : 2eA+1eP+2eB+2eD 2 successes, 3 advantage

P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Go ahead and post in the IC, and I'll respond. He's got a badly broken nose now, bleeding. 1 RuusMarev reacted to this

RuusMarev 2,697 Posted October 4, 2019 Cade will smack him in the head with the side of the bes'kad's blade, like a paddle.
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 Go ahead and post IC and I'll respond. I assume you aren't trying to actually hurt him any further, just intimidate him a little bit more. If you actually are trying to hurt him, please roll a Simple Melee check (Damage is Br+1 for the flat of the blade).

P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 You can always just scroll back up... (seriously, this whole thread is basically a collection of notes, if a little cluttered).
P-47 Thunderbolt 4,177 Posted October 4, 2019 I just edited the first post in this thread to give names of key players. Hopefully that helps.
