Schanez 282 Posted August 8, 2019 As a starting player in X-Wing, I am struggling with outfitting my ships. I was extremely happy, when I saw the planned release of the card packs, but then the excitement somewhat dwindled, when I saw the only planned ones contain additional pilots, devices and obstacles. While I will probably still buy them, especially the later two, it still does not answer my need for cards. I currently posess the Core Set, a T-65 X-Wing and a Y-Wing expansions as well as two Tie/ln and Tie/Advanced expansions. From all of those, I only have 1 Elusive card. Or only two Shield Upgrade cards. There is only one Gunner card, that being the Veteran Gunner one. I am planing squadrons in the app and create ideas for strategies, but due to lack of cards, I am unable to play them. There are people selling singular cards around, but those are used and in various state. I was looking for an official source of additional Talents, Modifications and such... But the only idea I came up with, is to buy one of the Expansion Sets from 1.0 to 2.0. Which leaves me with a lot of Pilots I do not need, for ships I do not have or don't plan on buying. Indeed you did, but FFG announcing more card packs already, to anybody, is not in the cards, as it were. Either patience, buy extra packs of something, or third party trades and purchases.
