Sloane took out another one during the week, turn 5 again though. Don't seem to be able to kill them much quicker than that with these lists. 

Slight variation on the list, but largely the same as last time, just trying Centicore instead of Demo in this one.

Killed my first SSD in a 400 point local tournament final.

SSD-Assault Prototype, Piett, DCO, Krennic, Kallus, PDR, GTs, LS, QBTs, QTCs, QLTs, HIEs, Ravager.
Gozanti, Comms Net, Vader (Officer)
Gozanti, Repair Crews

I was second player in Most Wanted and took:

Quasar I, Tagge, Flight Controllers, Ex Hangar, Boosted Comms
Quasar I, SFO, Flight Controllers, Ex Hangar, Boosted Comms 
GSD-I, Demolisher, ACM, OE
Gozanti, BCC
6 TIE-B, 2 TIE-Int, Mauler, 2 Jumpmaster, Tempest Sqn

  • Turn 1 we bank Navs he speeds up and turns right away from Demolisher and towards the carriers.
  • Turn 2 SSD kills my BCC Gozanti with Ravager CF & Krennic rerolls. I bomb a lot with Quasars trying to keep away and orbiting clockwise while Demolisher comes from the other side with the SSD turning towards the carriers onto an asteroid.
  • Turn 3 Quasar #2 dies (curse those QTCs) SSD slows to avoid debris but is on a rock for second time. Despite a loss of carriers most squads were in range and the flagship quasar could move in the others. Demolisher shoots the rear but DCO negates the ACM crits. We bomb most shields away and do 4 hull.
  • Turn 4 the SSD shoots Quasar at long range but from fore-right arc and no CF either. It also shreds Demolisher down to 2 hull with a HIE/QTC rear shot. We bomb and Demolisher shoots at close range, rams and shoots with 5 black from the flank, again no ACMs. No more contains left.
  • Turn 5 Demolisher dies, Quasar takes light damage, Interceptors Die from Flak. We bomb and only just kill the thing with one squadron to go.

The same list defeated a different SSD (same opponent) on turn 4 the week before, but that was Vassal, which definitely counts. Only loss yesterday was Demo, only loss game before that was Needa/TRC.

Defeated an SSD and VSD and Bomber Wing combo with my Sloane SSD Sickness list on the first activation of turn four. 

Grand Admiral Sloane, Command Prototype, Mr & Mrs Jendon-Steele, Howlrunner, Mauler, Soontir, Dengar. 

I choose to be First Player and selected Solar Corona. 

Turn 1 - he Alpha strikes me with Bombers. QLT and Mauler respond suitably. 

Turn 2 - I wipe out his squads. Begin bombardment of VSD and SSD. 

Turn 3 - Aces hit VSD. SSD continues bombardment. His SSD cripples mine.

Turn 4 - Aces hit SSD. SSD pops VSD and SSD. 

Lessons: staple DCO and Gunnery Team to your SSD. Consider stapling Kallus and QLT too. Alpha strike super carriers luuuuurve being first player.

Tonight my y wing killed an ISD on the very last roll of the very last fighter activation of round four..... so very pleased.

fleets were 350 points, bare bones ships with no aces ( it was a club night game so time was short.

 

imps had a 250 point ISD, a glad 1 and 6 tie bases.

i has mc80 assault, mc80 star cruiser, mc30, cr90 ( red dice) an xwing, hawk, y wing.....

 

round two the mc 30 came into the side hit the glad....bounced of the SSD side and died...

round three found the mc80 assault blocking the front of the SSD with a front and side arc on and the mc80 star cruiser parked in the side of the SSD avoiding the front arc, but able to hit it.....

 

Mc 80 assault died round 4 after trapping the SSD.....star cruiser hammered it, cr90 got in a double...one hull left with an swing, hawk and y wing to shoot....last round the blank ywing got it...

Took down my first SSD last night in a terrific game against my good friend @Lord Preyer.  I was first player and chose his Dangerous Territory objective. Suppressor used Slicer Tools in Turn 2 and removed the Squadron Command that was lined up, not knowing how critical that particular command was to the SSD's plan!

@Kani Kantai Here to report a round 2 kill on an Assault Prototype using @GiledPallaeon's NOVA list.

I deployed the Kuat and Demo after the SSD, spaced out to either side in such a way that it had to engage both or expose a flank.  It chose to engage both, and ate two red range shots and a close range side arc from Demo, which then dodged the front arc with ETs.  The Kuat last firsted with a double arc, choosing to chop off IO (no DCO, but that would have been the target.)  After getting up to 16 damage cards on the hull (lucky accuracies) and arc dodging, Demo survived a side arc and finished it off with two shots and a ram.  The Arquitens managed to kill the rest of the fleet (Demolisher) with two desperate last first double arcs, surviving on 1 hull.

I got my first SSD kill last night. It was a Sector Fleet game at 800 points and I was playing Ackbar against an Executor I and a few escort ships. It did take me until round 6, but that means I have room to improve for the next one.

Finished one off with my Gozanti in turn 5.  Lost the ISD only.  Got Darth Raider and Demo in behind, stripped the DCO, APT crits up the poop chute.  Was a variation of my Worlds list, trying the Cymoon with it.  Even though it did the job that match, wasn't a fan.  Was a Ravager Assault Prototype backed up by with a Goz and a handful of TIEs.  Here's my list, but I'll be going back to the ISD II for future uses of this fleet.  I was going first vs. his Planetary Ion Cannon.  We also play with proxies of the RitR content to test it out in most casual games here.

So I got my second confirmed SSD kill last night. Not sure if it counts because it was an 800 point Sector Fleet team game with 4 players.

But I'm posting it because we killed the Assault Prototype on *ROUND TWO* which is the fastest kill anyone has reported so far.

This was the start of the round where it died, taken just before Profundity spat out a Cham Hammerhead that set all his dials to squads. 

The SSD obligingly sailed into our guns, landed on the asteroid and got itself murdered. The final damage was a ram from the rightmost MC30.
