When you win worlds, what card will you create???

Modification: I-win button (200pts)

At the start of any system phase you may spend 1 non-recurring charge.  If you do so, declare yourself the winner, shake your opponents hand and pack up your ships.  Then leave the games venue.

 

Alternatively, would like to see Tarn Mison and Wes Janson make a comeback.

No ship is cheap enough to equip it..... Epic only I guess.

Good point, I forgot about Epic.  Should have specified standard games only.

Undecided whether it should be available for Hyperspace or limited to Extended format.

I really like this idea. Maybe apply 1 stress for every force spent so it doesn’t flat out kill pilot abilities. But saying that I want Carnor back in the game and he does something similar.

I would prefer this. The 'point' of the (expensive) force charge is that it's always available, come what may. But making it cost you something to use by sticking you with stress tokens when you use it seems more reasonable (strain probably doesn't work since you'll likely be spending it when defending - see the discussion about Finn's pilot ability).

I'd say the upgrade seems more appropriate for Sidious but we've already got him in game and he doesn't do that.

Maybe Mother Talzin? Wibbly hallucinogenic dark side voodoo is pretty much her thing.

 

I'd love to see Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos back in the game too. I'm undecided if you'd do the Royal Guard Interceptor by using the modification slots, as a configuration or title, or - as I'd probably prefer - as a (slightly) different ship.

What I see now is players take the best ships and mix and match them.  I would like to encourage more realistic squadrons.  Looking to X Wing vs Tie Fighter for inspiration, most of the missions you only two or 3 ship types at most.  Maybe you had some escorts flying A-Wings and some strike guys in Y's, B's or X's.  But it was usually 2 A 2 X or 2 A 2 B or whatever.  Not ABXY (choose the best pilot of each).
I agree it would be hard to balance.  I wouldn't want the benefit to be too powerful, but I want to try to encourage people to not just take the best pilot of every ship and make a soup (or alphabet).
