The Heavies are probably more expensive because they're huge - in scale the AAT and Saber are bigger than the Occupier.

$35 for the B2s and Phase 2 clones.

$60s for each tank.

We have seen the huge bases, they are the ones from T47 and AT-ST for example. The large base is the AT-RT one. The medium the one from the speeder bikes and small the regular troopers.

Maybe the AAT and republic tank are a super huge base, or just special ones like the one from the Occupier Tank

Honestly, that gives me time to save up some money for them. I personally don't mind.

FFG needs to fire someone. The SW legion release schedule has been a complete mess....

The main problem with this release schedule is people will lose interest and end up not spending money that they otherwise would have. I'm the perfect example of this. I stuck around for a few months when legion first came out. I ended up getting fed up with lack of content and chose to spend my free money elsewhere.

1 year later and nothing has changed. Same nonsense again.

Maybe, I'm just used to Games workshop release schedule where we get a whole codex filled with units to play with.

Edit:

Also, whats the deal with not releasing any big content in December again? This seems like a major miss. I wonder who's idea it was to not release any new content during Christmas and the holidays. Ok FFG, I won't ask my wife to pick me up the heavies for Christmas if you insist.....

Oh, I understand completely! I was going to start Imperials this year finally as I had the SWCC Vader, and the Empire had so much out as of now, that it actually feels not only overwhelming, but I couldn't justify buying it all myself. I put myself in a lose-lose situation pretty much. If I start with Clone Wars though, I can personally get things as they release. To each our own though.

I understand your perspective. I'm just confused with FFGs marketing plan on this. GW would have huge Christmas/holiday events. Huge releases and here we are not getting anything. Just a disappointment. If I didn't love the CW, I'd spend my money elsewhere.

You're mistaken. We have 5 units on Huge bases right now. The Large base is for the AT-RT and Dewback and such.

Correct - ATST is on the same base as the t47.

Which is a Huge base.

See, I look at this and say “wow look at All that’s coming!” And it’s pretty cool.

Yes, it’s not the same as the amount of GCW releases. Yes, they still have catching up to do. But it’s still pretty good news all around.

The big concern for me is how I’m going to afford it all. And yes I know that there are more expensive miniature games out there. That’s not the point.

They’re on sprues, hence the hike.

I am sorry, they were on sprues before, and sure they paid someone to cut the pieces from the sprues and place them inside small bags...

Now YOU make the work and pay more... it is a genius idea, you even get your customers to think that you care for them...

So the price hike is strong, really hard for any US person, but even worse if you consider the exchange rate that the company is going to cash for european customers (a ridiculous 1:1 ratio euro-dollar, so comparing only the prices, it is as if you paid 82$ for the bunker... and I am not taking into account the diferent income...)

Finally R2 and C3PO - Cross faction too. Good job, Crashed Escape pod with them, cant get any more Star wars thematic then that!

Are you sure about it?

I only see an art on a box that clearly reads: here you got a pod... or are you being sarcastic and I don't get it?

XDDD

They said on the stream that you can use R2-D2 and C-3PO for Rebel or Republic lists.

to anyone that has seen the stream: Did they say why the bunker is so expensive? does it got detailed interior? did they talk about the new prices for infantry boxes?

Yes, the lid comes off for a detailed interior, and you can take two and combine them into a larger bunker. It looks pretty great.

No, there’s a slight hike (like $5)

There isn't on their own website. Both the Droids and phase I clones are listed there at $25.  I'm not trying to be a downer here, but the price increase from $25 to $35 seems massive to me, and I'm not sure how they are justifying it. If B1s cost $25, it stands to reason the other sprue models would be similarly priced as well, especially since B1s actually have more models than the expansions in question.

The price increase just seems excessive, and very Games-Workshopish...🙁

Continuing the comparison with euro-dollar conversion, in europe the price would be 42$ for a SINGLE infantry box... and somehow they think this is going to help their selling numbers or their income??

I believe there was some comment on the intent to actually deliver on the presumed higher rate of customization for basic troopers, so there may be more options in the kits. But also this may be because of possible tariff or production issues we're finally seeing? I know there's been some concern over that lately.

I could really understand that finally the chinese tariffs could have affected ffg products in USA, since they are chinese made, but this should be only US concern... there is no new tariff in europe to justify such a price hike, we were already paying way more for ffg products, now it is simply unaffordable...

Yes it seems like we will be getting more in the boxes - this is what many people have been asking for so I’m not sure why the price increase would be surprising.

Clearly, FFG is entering new territory (for them) here so there has almost certainly been some growing pains in getting the physical product produced. I think we should be glad to have so many options to continue to tinker with before Clone Wars hits full steam.

Clone Wars will be an entry point for a lot of new players, and it’s not too bad to put things off until January so players can adjust to building their kits, painting, learning the rules, etc.  Having Legion as my first war game, I only bought 1 core set initially then after about a month got a second. It was another month until I was painting and longer until I got Leia, Fleets, etc.  I didn’t get the heavies until last December. I have no issue with the release schedule.

That sucks.
