GNIP has said something about wanting to mod a game, but needing help with maps and some things. Can you give us any more details, @GhostofNobodyInParticular? I have an idea for a trading / exploration game set in a Star Wars setting - more of a small ship thing than Armada, really, but I think it could work. Each player would control a couple of small freighters running goods between worlds, making cash, etc. Players could join and leave as needed - there ought not be a whole heap of book-keeping. Can you give us any more details, @GhostofNobodyInParticular? @The Jabbawookie is already working on a new map, and I am open to modding it - it'll probably be a bit more basic in terms of events, with the established rules. So far, it's looking to be a team game set in the Clone Wars era. Jabba has created the clone wars forces with point cost and carrier capacity, along with a few other goodies. Further details will follow after we've finished ironing it out. Thoughts, comments, suggestions? I quite like the idea you suggest. As I recall, before we started your games, this was the alternative format, no? I would definitely be willing to play it.
