Dalan Oberos : "loses 1 shield" mean "suffers 1 damage"? RESOLVED

Dalan Oberos say : "At the start of the Engagement Phase, you may choose 1 shielded ship in your } and spend 1 g. If you do, that ship loses 1 shield and you recover 1 shield."

If an other card is trigered "when ship suffers damage", Triger work or not? Loses 1 shield = suffers damage or just flip token?

Resolved : In FAQ --> No. While suffering damage does cause a ship to lose shields (if applicable), if an effect causes a ship to lose one or more shields directly, it has not suffered damage.
