What if x-wing games were canon?

Well, Anakin and Ahsoka, along with their Gold Squadron escorts, were shot down by General Grievous and his posse of Vulture Droids. Republic morale is going to be taking quite the hit.

So I'd say much worse for Palpatine in the short-term, better for the Jedi in the long-term.

Luminara survived order 66, and came out of hiding after discovering a small cadre of clones that had left the service, old friends of Rex, Gregor and the like. Four of them with two functional Arcs and V-19’s. Throw some missiles on there and she in here calibrated Jedi starfighter sought out to destroy the one that betrayed them all, Vader. Hiding with secret tech their force of five squared off against Vader in his x1, Defender ace Rexler Brath, and the kamikaze Deathfire with bombs and homing missiles.

Though the Torrents would not survive, their sacrifice was not in vein.

Little did they know that their victory would carry such consequences when the Rebel Shuttle Tyderium flew to Endor…

Well, Anakin and his Padawan (along with some support from Gold Squadron) intercepted a group of very strange and technologically advanced starfighters, only to find that one of the pilots claimed to be Anakin’s grandson.

Both Jedi could sense the conflict and darkness in this force user who was neither Jedi nor Sith, and assumed he had been driven mad.  So they utterly annihilated his wingmen, and while the strange black fighter escaped, the Jedi got back to the business of fighting the Clone Wars.

For his part, upon returning to his time, there’s no telling what tantrums Kylo got up to after realizing that his idol was in fact one of the greatest Jedi of all time.

Darth Vader led a wing of fighters against what he assumed were Jedi that somehow survived Order 66 along with some defective clones. After shooting down a Delta-7 with a rather distinctive paint job, Vader received an urgent message. "Lord Vader, you've created a time paradox!" With that the dark lord of the Sith ceased to be, and history had to go back to the drawing board to figure out just what the heck is going on.

Last actual game:

Wat Tambor, head of the Techno Union, and four escort Vulture droids were reactivated nearly six decades after the Clone War, drifting in an asteroid field in the Unknown Regions.  Kraken, long dormant, had detected some highly advanced hexacryption and alerted the droid fighters of a potential enemy presence.  Long distance scanners on DFS-311 relayed an image of ships with a strange profile, very unlike the Delta-7 and Actis Interceptor ships they'd been programmed to recognize.  These ships boasted a tiny, spherical cabin bracketed by two hexagonal solar arrays.  While they appeared quite threatening, it was only after the droid squad had engaged that they realized a new, deadly interceptor class of ship had snuck 'round behind them silently, maneuvering with the same supernatural precision that had characterized their battles with the Jedi pilots long ago.  Fighting was fierce, but in the end, with two of the strange fighters trailing clouds of ionized propellant and having sustained heavy damage, and the interceptor crippled, perhaps, by a lack of knowledge regarding these long-disused ships and their capabilities, the squad departed the asteroid field to determine what had become of the Techno Union, and whether the Clone War still raged...

Darth Vader and Black Squadron came off second best against Luke, Wedge and 2 Red Squadron X-wings last night.

I much prefer games where Empire fights Rebels and First Order fights Resistance. Same side matchups and out of period match ups (Galactic Republic vs First Order for example) I'll happily play if the alternative is not playing at all but I just think the game works better when the sides fight who they're supposed to fight.

Wat Tambor (how did he survive Mustafar? Perhaps it's a clone? How...). and his entourage of 5 Separatist Droids fought off a bunch of rag-tag rebels, known in the Holonet by the aliases of Lando Calrissian, Norra Wexley and Arvel Crynyd. All of them were killed without mercy by the droids (one of them, Purple, acted as unintentional bait to make his companions' job more effective).

We pray to the Force it happened after the events of Return of the Jedi...

My last game? Not a lot... A bunch of folks nobody really knows (Nym, Torani, Kavil) all perished at the hands of a rebel squadron. Braylen Stramm was killer, but Wedge is still alive to participate in the Death Star battles.

Before that? 4LOM and Dengar blew up in a skirmish with gunboats. Asajj managed to stay alive and slay the Nus and Maarek.... so I guess Vader needs to find a new wingman to save the Emperor from the traitorous Admiral Zaarin?

Anakin Skywalker and a group of clone pilots exited hyperspace and encountered a new type of interceptor that was roughly about the size of the Delta Anakin was flying. 5 in total these interceptors could fly circles around the 2 Arcs and Torrent with only Anakin able to pin them down. To their surprise these interceptors could even rotate their guns backwards. With some Republic ingenuity Anakin and the Clones had crippled most if not all these starfighters with them retreating to hyperspace. The Clones had escaped any major damage but Anakin's Delta was sporting some new scratches and some hull damage with his tempory R2 unit making repairs.

"Where is R2 when you need him?"

"Beep Boop?"

" No not you, I mean R2-D2."

Ahsoka and Barriss were having a ladies night out with a 3 Torrent escort, when suddenly a worm hole opened up and ,yakked out Kylo Quickdraw and a SKBase pilot. For whatever reason they fought, and our heroines were woefully unprepared for the technological terror that befell them.

Heh.  Captain Sear stole Grievous's ship, and escorted by a small squadron of heavily upgraded Separatist Drones blew out of a hyperspace wormhole to wreak havoc upon a Red Squadron patrol.  The X-Wings managed to down three of the Drones, and the fourth was on fire, but the two Veterans fled after both Wedge and Biggs tasted the cold, hard vacuum of the asteroid belt.

edit:  So, Luke loses both his wingmen for the trench run, but Plot Armor - I mean the Force, of course - ensures that he completes his mission?

My last game: in a dramatic twist, Kylo Ren kills his father Han Solo...

OK, so not that one....

The game before that: Wat Tambor and a squadron of Vultures survived the Clone Wars and escaped Darth Vader at Mustafar only to meet their doom at the hands of Dash Rendar, Sabine Wren, and Jake Farrell.

Anikan Skywalker dies along with Wolffe and Sinker in a battle with TIE Infiltrators from the future. When the squad comes back they realize the Galatic Empire was short-lived because Palpatine could not find an apprentice as effective as Darth Vader. The empire turns into an oligarchy ruled by Padame Amadala, Bail Organa, Ashoka Tano, and Mace Windu with Luke, Leia, and Obi-Wan being very aggressive in negotiations with other systems controlled by Maul and the Hutts. The senate is still around but is a rubber stamp for the ruling council. The Grand Army of the Republic is still manned by clones under the command of the Jedi. Cody becomes the first clone general and commands the Grand Republic Battle and Scientific Station (GR-BASS) that is the size of a small moon and has the power to destroy planets as part of the classified weapons program. The GR-BASS is another means of keeping Maul and the Hutts in check in the Outer Rim.
