player33475 7 Posted May 4, 2010 That was quick from announcement to on the boat. So we should see it in early July.
Blackburn2 0 Posted May 5, 2010 Fantastic! They probably waited until it was at the printer before they announced it, so that it wasn't hanging around with little being done. I hope they speed up releases a bit. I'm chomping at the bit for Dominus Exxet and Those Who Walk Among Us. I'm looking forward to Gaia, but I'm more looking forward to those than the setting book. Keylime 0 Posted May 5, 2010 Grrrr. Now I have to wait until at least July. But it beats waiting until next year.
Efferdan2 0 Posted June 7, 2010 I think it's a good thing, that the setting book is the next book. Sure, player like to have new cool stuff for more a**-kicking, but Gaia I would be a great help for all gamemasters (like me) out there. Personally I think it's a little bit unfortunate that many information about the world exists i.e. in the Tactics game but isn't / wasn't available for the rpg. Sure, you can make many things up - and in fact, i did, since my group had several adventures in Americh - but if you want to stay canon (mostly), a setting book is mostly needed. So waiting 'til July. I preorderd already
KilledWithStyle 0 Posted June 11, 2010 What I hope this is would be a token to show that they are going to release these more often (I am thinking original book release date(s)) and will come out with the others sooner. I will buy this book not for the extra rules (allthough nothing stopping me from using it), but I will be buying it for the world. It don't know about the rest of you... but the world has me the most intrigued out of all of the books. I am also looking forward to "those who walked among us" which if I remember correctly will add things like new Nephilim and have a large monster list. Sorry ki domminions, but I just find new races more interesting rather than what constitutes Ki abilities.
Gunblade2 0 Posted June 11, 2010 Woh! A world book! Finally. The information in the core book just ain't enough. I haven't played a single session yet, but I'm afraid that the players will have too many questions about Gaïa that I can't answer. So this is good news. Very good news. And since I'm pretty happy with the rules, I don't need any more rule book at the moment. Maybe some monster/summoning/creature-thingie, though. That'd be nice. Rapier1 146 Posted June 22, 2010 According to Amazon uk this won't be out here till September Anyone know the release date for this in the UK? (My local retailer also didn't seem to know). I'm really hoping they're just a bit behind and will update to tell me I can have it next week or something
Ogrehound 0 Posted June 22, 2010 Skywalker said: Well its in stores. Who has it? Spill the beans. My FLAGS in Madison, WI has it, I'll be picking up a copy, it's pure world setting with about 7-8 pages devoted to rules. It looks better than the core book, and reads better too. CanadianPittbull 1 Posted June 22, 2010 I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this as well just waiting for mine to show up. But a review from others that have it would be grand.
Gunblade2 0 Posted June 22, 2010 I ordered a copy from frpgames.com a couple of days ago, but since I live in Sweden I guess it'll take some time to get it. And dang, it was expensive. Stupid $27.95 shipping...
