New to 2.0 Who's got Hyperspace FO or Imp lists?

Recommended Posts

Just bought back into the game after a long hiatus. Know almost nothing about 2.0.

I'm wanting to throw together something for Hyperspace events. Playing either FO or Imperial.

Anybody care to share what they're working with?

First Order:

Kylo Quickdraw Tavson, or Kylo double upsilon for first order.

Imperials:

Vader with afterburners, Soontir with predator and two barrage missile bombers. Joust with bombers, flank with vader and soontir.

There is also Vader with afterburners, Major Vermeil, Gideon, Countdown, all with crackshot. 6pts leftover for taste. Fcs on vader, crew like deathtroopers on vermeil. Best to keep a small bid of 2 or 3pts though.

If you just like trip aces: Vader with hate, fcs, afterburners. Soontir with predator. Maarek with fcs, afterburners, and your choice of talent. Leaves you with a 10+ bid.

Five ship Imperials is really strong.  This made the cut at a 40 player Hyperspace trial:

Maarek Stele (46)
Fire-Control System (2)

Major Vermeil (49)
Death Troopers (6)

“Wampa” (30)

Academy Pilot (23)

“Pure Sabacc” (44)
Total: 200

Six TIE/ln swarms (Howlrunner & Iden) are also very strong.

For Empire, the best place to start is probably Vader and Soontir. They don't really need any upgrades, but Vader likes Afterburners (or Hate and FCS) and Soontir likes Predator. From there, adding to joust-oriented ships gives you a strong and versatile squadron. 2 barrage rocket bombers is really good, but I prefer Countdown and Gideon Hask

Played this in a Hyperspace trial reacently, swaped two dials in my top4 game and lost due to it.

Tie swarm is strong

Bomberswarm is supposed to be good, but never see them :)

Vader+sense, Soontir 3 academys is a thing.

FO Kylo and Tavsson are no1 picks. I prefer afterburners on QD since you can aceplay early/midgame and save your shields for a brawling endgame.

Tavson, starkiller or petty officer, Kylo (with hate if starkiller)

Tavsson, Kylo, QD

exept for those lists, FO is struggling a bit and waiting to get som upgrades/crews pointreductions.

But they are great fun to play (my favorite faction)
