a501ut 0 Posted September 2, 2019 Hi everybody! Do you know what is the difference between "Path to carcosa" and "Return to path to carcosa"? I have the basic "Arkham horror: The card game". Dr Dee 73 Posted September 3, 2019 You need The Path to Carcosa and all of its mythos packs in order to get value out of the Return to The Path to Carcosa. The 'Return to...' sets essentially tweak the existing scenarios and encounter sets (plus add some player cards) but require you to have the full cycle already. It improves replayability and changes the experience a bit (and gives you somewhere sensible to store your cards) but is an addition to, rather than an alternative to, the main cycle (in your case the Path to Carcosa). 2 a501ut and Antimarkovnikov reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mwmcintyre 271 Posted September 3, 2019 Always wait until you have the full regular campaign cycle before buying a "Return to....." product. The "Return to...." sets offer three things and ONLY these three things: 1)tweaks/additional cards to the original scenarios of the campaign. You cannot use them without the originals, they do not replace, but only add a few cards for replayability/variety. 2)A handy dandy cool looking storage solution for the campaign. I especially like how one end looks like an old school file cabinet drawer labeled with the campaign title. 3)A few new player cards - usually new, different XP cost versions of existing cards.
