Pathfinder Module Recommendations for Genesys Conversion

Recommended Posts

I know this might be strange, but I'm looking for Pathfinder module recommendations for my group that will be ran using the Genesys system.

A little backstory: my group just recently finished a Pathfinder AP (Rise of the Runelords) and some of the players that were newer to Pathfinder were miserable and hated it. Now my group is thinking of running another Pathfinder AP, but wants to convert it to the Genesys system. Before we do that, however, I would like to do a test run of sorts by taking a few Pathfinder one-shots or a module that we can test out how the conversions would play and feel in the Genesys system while simultaneously allowing us to work out some of the bugs in our conversions.

This is 100% an experiment for us that may or may not work out the way we'd like, but we're pretty set on giving it a shot at least. Does anyone have any recommendations for some modules or one-shots that would be good for us to use for our experiment?

Answer is any you like 😀 focus on bringing in the story but you will have to build the encounters using Genesys. Dont try and recreate pathfinder mechanics. You could always try we be goblins modul for Lols 😀

I know nothing about Pathfinder. But mayb you could convert the online adventure for Realms of Terrinoth to Pathfinder. That might or might not be easy. As it is an experiment, you could take the pre-gens and play in Terrinoth as is.

Good luck!

The trouble with Pathfinder is that - especially in the higher levels - it's all about tactical combat. Strip that from Rise of the Runelords, and there is not much left ...

However, I guess otherwise than creating stats for all the major NPCs and monsters there's not much conversion needed, so I'm sure it will workout fine. Genesys' weakness is the lack of adventures, but one of its strengths is the easy flow of the game. I wish they would publish more NPC cards to support and ease such conversion work.

Either way, I would be very interested in the outcome of your experiment; so please, share your experiences here!
